'Secret Service Agent’s New Revelation In JFK Assassination'
On 22nd November 1963, President John F Kennedy was assassinated whilst travelling in a limousine through Dallas, Texas.
Paul Landis, a former Secret Service agent, was just 15 feet away from the president when he was shot.
He has spent much of his life trying to forget what he saw.
Almost 60 years on, he has revealed a key piece of evidence he recovered at the time which challenges the accepted story of what happened.
Mr Landis says he found a bullet behind Kennedy’s seat and put it on his stretcher in Dallas’ Parkland Hospital.
However, that bullet ended up on Texas governor John Connally’s trolley - the man sitting in front of Kennedy in the car.
Mr Landis’ account complicates the conclusions of the official report into Kennedy’s death, which says a “magic bullet” that was fired first hit the president and then Connally.

When you're told in the 'Crime of the Century' that the accused assassin is interrogated for hours on end and then no recordings were taken and no stenographer was used to take notes, than you know the fix was in.

@kevinbrennan-ji1so The fix? Don't flatter yourself, Shamus. It was not common to record suspects back in 1963 and the DPD didn't even have a tape recorder. However, there are 2-1/2 half pages of Captain Fritz’s contemporaneous handwritten notes at the National Archives. And detailed written reports were filed by each of Oswald's interrogators that weekend; many of these were collected as Appendix XI of the Warren Report, where they occupy some forty pages

@@stddisclaimer8020 Give it a break, amateur. Fritz had used a tape recorder in previous interrogations (by his own admission). And we're not talking about a common case jag. We're talking about the biggest crime of the damn century.

@@kevinbrennan-ji1so Evidently, no one (the DPD included) was "ready" i.e. expected the crime of the century. Your 20/20 hindsight offers a clarity not available to those back then. It remains that in 1963, it was not yet common to tape suspects' interrogations. Once again: detailed written reports were filed by each of Oswald's interrogators that weekend; many of these were collected as Appendix XI of the Warren Report, where they occupy some forty pages. Evidence with long-held secret documents, accumulated through the past 59 years, shows that theory was just that, a theory to cover-up the conspiracy by powerful government insiders and agencies, as they hated Kennedy and wanted him out of the presidency! LBJ, FBI Director Hoover (doing the key cover-up work after), with LBJ the mastermind with his key allies to plot the coup d'etat from at least May 1963, when the VP egged Kennedy to visit Texas to "fix the liberal conservative split" in the Dem Party. It was a ruse to get him to Texas (LBJs power base with his financier Ed Clark) to kill him there, and the trip there wasn't necessary then at all, It could have been done anytime in 1964, but that would be too late to save LBJ from the Senate investigating him on his corrupt (bribery-kickback) dealings, and the LIFE magazine expose on him for the same reason, scheduled for released the week after Fri. Nov. 22. If the coup had not made him #36, he would have faced more pressure to leave the VP slot (as Spiro Agnew did in Oct. 1973), with Kennedy already indicating to his secretary Evelyn Lincoln, when asked about the VP for '64, "No, it will not be Lyndon. I'm thinking of Gov. Terry Sanford (NC)." Mrs. Lincoln was so surprised, she wrote down that conversation, and later published it in her memoirs on her 12 years as secretary to Kennedy.

I think the Secret Service was complicit in covering up their mistakes ... 1. they were hung over from the night before.... some actually showed up drunk because they were drinking up until 5 am . 2. when shots were fired an untrained SS agent in the follow up car grabbed the AR-15 and it discharged ... ( maybe in the back of Kennedy's head) SS claimed that the gun never came out until they were on the freeway... yet pictures tell a different story ... 3. at the hospital SS agents had soap and water cleaning out the car and the evidence? who would do that? . 4. they broke Texas law by stealing the body so they could oversee the autopsy in DC. 5. orderly in the autopsy room testified the SS made them retake head x-rays with planted bullet fragments from Oswald's rifle and he testified the bullet fragments taken from Kennedy's head were a different caliber ... ( of course the warren commission ignored that testimony) .... some in the motorcade said the smell of gun power was in the air.... they were right behind the follow up car ....don't think they could smell gun power from a 5th story building

When I was in high-school, I did a book report on the Warren commission; and my question is this, who removed the top of the limousine?? If the top of the car had been intact...Lee H.Oswald could not have seen the President from the 6th floor of the school book building! He would have had to been on a ground level floor to see the President through the back window! And if the average deer hunter knows anything about bullet trajectory & angle of entry,they would know that a rifle shot from 60 feet above( 6 story building = 60 feet) the bullet fire from that height would have entered the President's head at a vertical angle; Not horizontally like we see in all the videos and autopsy photos! Your analysis is lacking. Assuming the height of the sixth floor of the Book Depository is 60 feet, and knowing that the distance of Kennedy from Oswald was 265 feet, using the inverse sine function (Trigonometry) shows that the angle downward of the bullet when fired was 23 Degrees. A rifle bullet does NOT just fall out of the sky at a vertical angle after traveling a mere 265 feet (just 80 meters). In fact at that small distance the bullet drop would be minuscule and the angle would still be approximately 23 degrees downward, not 90 degrees downward as you claim. And if you had researched your book report thoroughly you would know that Kennedy always traveled with the top off of the limo weather permitting. That's why the top was designed to come off of the limo in the first place.

There were probably 3 shooters and 6-8shots fired. One went through the windshield from front to rear. It was probably an AR-15 round (.223 caliber). One fatal head shot was from a 7.65mm Mauser. One bullet hit a section of curb that was removed. One hit another section of curb and chipped a piece that hit James Tague in the cheek. One bullet hit Kennedy in the neck from the front (could have been the windshield shot), one bullet hit JFK in the back, originally far lower than where they changed it so it would line up with his neck wound, etc. It was a mess and a lot of people bought the Warren Report book, line, and sinker. John Conally swore til he died that he and Jack were hit with separate bullets due to very credible recollection. There was even a chrome piece damaged at the top of the windshield. When the movie “JFK”’came out in 1991, the CIA, FBI, and other parts of the Establishment did everything they could to tear apart and discredit that movie. Although perhaps not perfect, the JFK movie was just about right on target (pun not intended). Some say the movie perhaps should have made more out of LBJ’s involvement. However, if you recall, there’s a scene of what appears to be Johnson talking to military leaders in a small group wherein Johnson says, “You take care of Kennedy, and I’ll give you your GD war (meaning Vietnam)!!” There were other reasons why some wanted Kennedy killed, but perhaps No. 1 was that Kennedy was not going to give the military industrial complex a long, drawn out, moneymaking war in Vietnam. Kennedy just the month before had signed an Order calling for a full pullout of all US Troops from Vietnam by Dec 31, 1965. US Troops were already there when Kennedy took office. Kennedy wanted peace, but they wanted war. Under Kennedy, there were about 16,000 troops there. By 1968, Johnson had over 500,000 US troops in Vietnam.

"Probably..." lol a) Only damage to the windshield, still in the National Archives, is a crack caused by a bullet fragment that also damaged the chrome plating... from the inside. b) No Mauser was ever found, a couple of cops misidentified the Carcano at first and freely admitted it, big deal. c) Gerald Ford's notations "move" the location of the wound from basically above the shoulder to base of the neck, again, big deal, and you didn't mention the autopsy photos and x-rays still plainly show the exact location of the wound anyway. d) Victims' reactions in Zapruder's films clearly demonstrate they are hit by the same bullet. e) Let me get this straight: somebody was assuming they would frame this on Oswald from behind while standing squarely in front of the limo (where, exactly...?), in direct line of sight of every person in the motorcade, firing through glass (!!!) and past the ears of a carful of passengers, as he shot Kennedy in the face.

I recently watched an interview of with a woman who was an attending nurse at Parkland Hospital on 11/22/63. THE INTERVIEW WAS FROM ABOUT 8 or 9 YEARS AGO. She was talking about some of the things she recalled from that day after Kennedy’s body was brought in. One thing she said she remembered very well was this: SHE RECALLED VERY CLEARLY SEEING A BULLET ON JFK’s STRETCHER. Not on Connally’s stretcher but on KENNEDY’S STRETCHER. I immediately felt like yelling BINGO!!!! As I said, this was from 8 years or so ago. This was LONG BEFORE Landis said anything about having placed a bullet on Kennedy’s stretcher. And had Landis ever seen this video? I doubt it. Therefore this nurse was corroborating Landis’s story with absolutely no influence from Landis. And the woman was very strong in stating emphatically that she saw a bullet on JFK’s stretcher. I wanted to immediately reach out to all JFK assassination researchers and ask, “Did you see this woman’s interview??” More people need to see this woman’s interview now that Landis has told his story. He may have been telling the truth.

From Paul Landis’ Official Secret Service Report Submitted on November 27, 1963: As the Motorcade passed the Texas School Book Depository (TSBD) “None of the windows were open, and I did not see anyone standing by them.” [Numerous windows were open and people were visible in many of them.] “The President's car and the Follow-up car had just completed their turns and both were straightening out [on Elm Street].” “At this moment I heard what sounded like the report of a high-powered rifle from behind me, over my right shoulder. When I heard the sound there was no question in my mind what it was.” [Surely the Warren Commission would want to hear every word Landis had to say.] “I did not realize that President Kennedy had been shot at this point.” “It was at this moment that I heard a second report and saw the President's head split open and pieces of flesh and blood flying through the air.” “President slumped out of sight towards Mrs. Kennedy.” “My reaction at this time was that the shot came from somewhere towards the front, right-hand side of the road.” [That area would include the Triple Underpass and the Grassy Knoll. The Warren Commission immediately lost interest in Landis because they did not want to hear a single word about a shot coming from the front or the right.] “I did not notice anyone on the overpass, and I scanned the area to the right of and below the overpass where the terrain sloped towards the road on which we were traveling.” [Landis did not look to the TSBD following the head shot, he looked to the Grassy Knoll.] “I do not recall hearing a third shot.” When the Motorcade arrived at Parkland Memorial Hospital, Landis said “Mrs. Kennedy's purse and hat and a cigarette lighter were on the back seat. I picked these three items up as I walked through the car and followed Mrs. Kennedy into the hospital.” A purse! A hat!! A cigarette lighter!!! Not one word about a pristine bullet!!!! Not one word about bullet fragments!!!!! Not one word about placing the pristine bullet on President Kennedy’s gurney!!!!!! Landis’ 60th Anniversary memory improvement is too little, too late, and unbelievable!!!!!!!

The problem for the WR Apologists is that everything has to fit into a very small window. A window of 3 bullets, a window of no one knowing each other, and a window of evidence that is crystal clear. Unfortunately, there is a LOT OF EVIDENCE OF ADDITIONAL BULLETS. Starting with Bethesda, there is the Jerrol Custer bullet found in the body bag when JFK's body was unloaded. There is the two bullets in Dealey Plaza. The one filmed with a plainclothed officer picking it up out of the grass, and the bullet that hit Tague underneath the overpass. There are the 4 bullets at Parkland. #399 which is disputed even by the very person who found it (Thompson) when he told everyone that his bullet was pointed not round. Which means there is more than one "Magic Bullet." And then there is the Dr. Shaw bullet which he stated after 4 hours of surgery on Connally was STILL IN CONNALLY's LEG! And of course the Paul Landis bullet corroborated by the late Nurse Phyliss Hall over 10 years ago. Needless to say, nothing is crystal clear with the WR Evidence.

Shooter was in Kennedy's limo trunk
@richardmattingly7000
@richardmattingly7000 10 месяцев назад
Sorry Folks, but how Connally was seated In a way that made it impossible for a bullet that hit him not to have gone thru Kennedy first since he blocked the governors back. Gov. Connally was sitting inboard and lower in the jump seat in front of the President and about the only who could have been another shooter could of hit him was Kennedy himself. Indeed had the alleged bullet not made it thru Kennedy''s back or clothing possibly just falling out can't explain his neck wound and where the one went for Connally. It gets worse since where he said it was would truly have to be a magical bullet to end up on the top of the seat. Agent Clint Hill pushed Kennedy-Jackie down after he reached the car and used his body to shield them and the President was gotten out of the car by the door not over the seat. Landis said he was just 15ft behind the car at the fatal moment in photos-film say it was much farther than that and the motorcycke officer was closer between the two. If he'd placed the alleged bullet on Kennedy's gurney so it would go with the body how did it get onto Connally's who was treated in a different room altogether. Indeed if Landis is telling what he believes to be the truth why did he sit on it for nearly 60yrs and not tell others at the time he had found it being that vivid of a memory. The third shot scenario into the car doesn't work because the President was blocking Connally's back when he was hit from behind had to pass thru Kennedy to get there. The first round supposedly fired by Oswald appears to be accounted for as well when a man was struck standing below the overpass from it hitting concrete on the road nearby fragmenting. Landis is sincere but questionable due to the decades it took to come forward and the conjecture about the pristine but it wasn't bullet recovered had to be know to him.
