'Secret Service Agent’s New Revelation In JFK Assassination'
On 22nd November 1963, President John F Kennedy was assassinated whilst travelling in a limousine through Dallas, Texas.
Paul Landis, a former Secret Service agent, was just 15 feet away from the president when he was shot.
He has spent much of his life trying to forget what he saw.
Almost 60 years on, he has revealed a key piece of evidence he recovered at the time which challenges the accepted story of what happened.
Mr Landis says he found a bullet behind Kennedy’s seat and put it on his stretcher in Dallas’ Parkland Hospital.
However, that bullet ended up on Texas governor John Connally’s trolley - the man sitting in front of Kennedy in the car.
Mr Landis’ account complicates the conclusions of the official report into Kennedy’s death, which says a “magic bullet” that was fired first hit the president and then Connally.
