the first Cap vs snk was what introduced me to the SNK fighters & im guessing like many that never touched an SNK fighter saw new lvls of Boss BS with Gess or what ever that blond ashole is called, cause damn I thought I knew what "cheep" was with Akuma in Xmen CotA

You paid homage to the ogs now you are treading on greatness! Capcom vs SNK and Capcom vs SNK 2 are the epitome of the Capcom vs series imo. It would be nice if you did a video on the character dossiers from both titles including shin Akuma and G.Rugal.

They are both fun games. I did cover Shin Akuma in a huge 40 minute video across many games. Regarding the Lore around him.

The only way to tell if it is Shin Akuma is if CPU Boss Akuma has a double air fireball which he does. But if he TRULY WAS Shin Akuma, his name would flash "EX" then show his name in red. Just like how Evil Ryu's name flashes "EX", then shows the name "Ryu" in red AND Orochi Iori who's name flashes fron "EX" to the name "Iori" in red

I think the only reason why they flashed was because they were ex characters that were suppose to be used by the player. I guess the devs thought since we would not get access to S.Akuma in CVS1 then their is no point adding the flash.

@vista1456786 true. Capcom waited until Capcom vs SNK 2 to put the TRUE Shin Akuma in. The Akuma who received the Orochi power from Rugal. SPEAKING OF Rugal, he had an EX version even without his Ultimate form that also didn't appear until CVS2. The reason why Rugal had an EX version and not the "Evil Ultimate" version was because he wasn't a final boss in the first game. EX Rugal did have Ultimate Rugal's command grab move. Anyways, CVS2 Shin Akuma was the best form of Shin Akuma. Shin Akuma in other Street Fighter games was just Akuma using his full power. The Shin Akuma I Street Fighter 6 was Akuma after he eats a rice ball. Then there was Cyber Akuma from Marvel Super Heroes vs Street Fighter, a form of Akuma who got transformed by Apocalypse and finally there was Oni from Street Fighter 4 who was Akuma after being completely consumed by the Satsui No Hado

Excellent man this was legendary in crossovers if characters Like Robert & Andy Cody & Guy had made it Feilong Adon Mr big krauser kumui ninja masters Sasuke as well john Crawley Hanzo fumma geegus as the final boss could be even tighter the ability to shape-shift into any character at any time excellent as always Kazama Brothers as well zankuro Mizuki good stuff Kaede moriya Kagami as a boss again the from final form sen Goku syndrome included lol the snk version of the double dragons cheng fu as well tight as always
