If you master the basic principles, you can apply these tips and secret techniques to various sound patterns. So let's do it on a basic scale first. I will explain using the scale in C major and the descending shape on the right.

First, let's grasp the position of the hand. When you put your hand on the keyboard as it is, it looks like this. First, the sound that can be played at 5-1 comes, then 3-1 and 4-1 come, and then 3-1 ... and so on. If you color-code them, it looks like this. You can group them like this, so let's check the movement of the position while playing at the same time.
Next is the second point, playing the group with the minimum finger movement.
First, the finger makes the minimum movement. Our fingers work like this, so please try it together! You can move this range, but does the edge movement feel a little stiff on your arm? So, make small movements in the tastiest place possible, that is, around the center of the range of motion.
Let's practice key release while being aware of this movement. Let's put our hand in the 5-1 position. There are two types of key release: raising the finger and using the rotation of the forearm. Which one should I use here?
Let's actually do it. Raise your finger to release the key ... Well, it's slow, isn't it? But what about the key release that uses the rotation of the forearm? It's fast! And above all, the amount of finger movement is overwhelmingly small, isn't it?
This time, I want to make the minimum finger movement, so naturally I will release the key by rotating from the forearm. Make a sound first, then release the key while rotating. This way, in fact, Ravel uses it in his work. If you get to 5-1, let's try it in the next group.
At this time, there is a feeling that you want to familiarize yourself with your body.
It is a feeling of moving in a curve to help the minimum finger movement.
First, it is a curve centered on the horizontal rotation. Form a group from bottom to top. Let's be aware of this. Start with exaggeration, and gradually make smaller movements as you get used to it. Please try it together!
Next is the curve before and after according to the length of the finger. Since each finger has a different length, it is natural that the place to hit the key will change. Let's make a curve before and after, rather conscious of them. Again, exaggerate at first, and gradually make smaller movements as you get used to it.
In other words, the horizontal circular motion, the front-back circular motion, and the two circular motions overlap.
