Love your tie rod end!!! I use to do the same thing on an old 970 Case but I used barbed wire. I could usually get about a year's worth of service with it, before it required the new installation of a "new" piece of barbed wire (AKA - bobwire, here in NE Texas), often borrowed from the nearest fence. I'd use this almost daily, year round, cutting/raking/baling hay, then stacking the hay, and then feeding hay all winter. Oh, love the old poppin Johnny too. Hope to get one someday

I live in the far north region known as Ohio. We have a large lake called Erie and you should see the size of the sheepheads we catch when we are trying to catch walleye. 10 pounders are not unusual. Like you Tyler, we toss em back.

Seems everyone is getting some kind of battery backup system. No one tho mentions as to if you forget that its been plugged into household current to recharge one, and then forget to unplug when its done charging... as in a few days go by and its still plugged into a AC current charging system. Will that ruin it or just set there till someone unplugs it??? I suffer with dementia and would forget my own name was it not on many of my clothes. Their not cheap, least not for most of them and if it burnt up, not much reason for even considering a buying these chinese jumper boxes. My personal care attendant has one, and it worked for a couple months. He left it for me when our power was out, that said..... the power came back on and I did forget to unplug it as it was just plugged into the wall and letting it backfeed the house where I only had the things most needed being used. I forgot till he came three days later and of course, it was burnt up and to send it back was going to take forever. I had to replace it as its a good faith thing to do. That thing was a whole eight hundred dollars!!! Until they make one that doesn't have to go back to china and be warrantied, their just not a good thing
