i second the comment about dung beetles. good little critters to have around as they really help break up and spread the manure.

If you have enough forage to keep your animals on pasture for 4 TO 6 DAYS!!! then your paddock is way too large. Give them enough for 1 day or maximum 2 days....not more. Otherwise it gives them the opportunity to graze "the candy" and leave what they don't like behind. That degrades your pasture.

nice deep grass, hope you get at least a week outta it. I don't have cattle so even a week seems like a very short time. But what do l know. 🤔 Good luck with it. I'd like to know just how many days you do end up getting on that area.

How are your steers doing gaining weight? How long until you think they are ready to butcher?

They seem to be putting on weight. Thinking we’ll have some ready in august. A couple of them are really starting to get wide in the rear. Looking pretty good. Thanks for watching

The cows look fantastic thank you for sharing im trying to fi.d my way I just obtained a total of 50 acres high dessert in Central Oregon itll be a few years b4 I can put cattle on my place after the pigs and chickens jave their way with sage brush
