For a deeper understanding you must read about the affirmative actions that were taken at the time of independence in the name of reservation for these deprived classes although it still was and is a very miniscule attempt at bringing them into the mainstream, they are included in the scheduled Tribes category the only issue is the aggressive honest implementation of these affirmative actions and general understanding acceptance and sensitivity by the privileged class in india ,I am glad people like you stumbled upon their plight and voiced it . Jisko jo mila usko Apne buddhi ke anusar jina hi jindagi hai. Khud Ko dekhna jindagi hai.... Sari duniya ke dukh dur kar sake itne hamare kandhe majbut nahin hai.

Your video left me intrigued, bro. I have myself seen these jadi-booti wala nomads parking, camping and selling their ware off make-shift tents all over Gujarat and Rajasthan... What I never knew was they were a baseless, homeless, adrift lot. I always assumed they'd be returning home to a village for festivals like most carpenters, masons and artisans do. These just don't have a place to return to! As for us wanting to be like them and them wishing upon a star to be like us with homes some day, I reflected on the irony that the grass appears greener on the other side. Just because each has had too much of being in their own side! I've contributed what I could via Paytm and submitted details in the form. Actually the banjaras are the original campers who spread out to Europe and became the gypsies, so that ways Indians are the pioneers of this lifestyle
Hi After seeing the movie the nomadland. I browsed a lot on RV life and came across your videos. I hope you will spread the van culture in India. Future Bob wells of India. Few years back one company imported lot of camper vans in India with a plan to make in India. But the biggest barrier is Govt policies that registers a caravan as a commercial vehicle.
Pyaji, I am now 84 but had a wanderlust in my youth. The fact is that we had good homes loving families and a well settled way of life to leave everything and branch off into the wide world. Forget foreign tours there was so much to see and experience in India but 60 years ago the socialist myopic govt ensured we remained poor or, let'say, low middle class to even afford a 4 wheeler. That's, in fact, the main reason why countless young, intelligent, honest, skilled people left for UK or Austrailia, South America to earn the respect of the trades. But I had an unexpresionable love, affinity for India who had given refuge to my anancestors from Iran with open arms. I hope great success to today's freer youngsters imbibed with the spirit of adventure and feelings for our countrymen, be they gypsies or vanjaras.
Hello dhruv! I think we need to make a kind of a support system for them like some kind fund or anything, so might be they can buy their necessary equipment like bathroom and other stuff.
