If Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 4 happens, I would prefer if they used the Lizard over the vulture. The lizard has the potential to be a top 5 villain with raimi involved
Totally! A Raimi Lizard would be so cool! 😍 Even Morbius, a comic-accurate Electro and Tombstone would be great for Tobey. 🤩 I hope Raimi's Spider-Man 4 happens.❤4💙
Norman was never the villain in Raimi's movies Norman Osborn started his company from the ground up. He worked hard his entire life. Norman is subjected to the deadlines and quotas enforced by a military officer with a personal bias against him. The officer says, "There is nothing I would like more than to see Osborn fail." This is highly unprofessional of the military officer. It is a crime to abuse military rank to attack the livelihood of a person just because you dislike them for a personal reason. The unprofessional officer goes out of his way to contradict Norman out of the officer's own PERSONAL feelings. He coerces a damaging statement from Norman's colleague. Norman's colleague, an underling, goes over Norman's head and reveals far too much to this officer, over-stepping his boundaries and putting Norman's entire future in jeopardy. This causes Norman to be overwhelmed and panic to the point where he must experiment on himself. Norman's colleague, the underling, is killed during the experiment. It was basically the colleague's own fault that Norman took the performance enhancers and then went on a violent rampage. If he kept his mouth shut and not overstepped his boundaries, he would be alive. The unprofessional military officer attempts to sabotage Norman by giving Norman's government contract to another company. Norman sets things right, destroying the officer's physical existence while bombing the other company's testing facility during a demonstration of their weapon. This also showcases Norman's superior weapon over the competition. Theirs didn't stand a chance. The Goblin Glider was the superior weapon. Profits are up for Oscorp Industries. Norman secures his company's future. Norman attends a meeting where his associates, board members and so-called "friends" BETRAY him. All of them betray him at once. The board members sell Norman's own company, forcing Norman out of the company he started. Norman pleads with these people not to sell. They refuse. They hold more shares than Norman and the board is unanimous. They show no humanity and they are cold. They are dealt with accordingly, just like the unprofessional military officer. They are destroyed by the weapon they were intending to sell. They were disloyal ingrates. Norman's son, Harry Osborn, has a friend named Peter who is poor and has no parents. Norman OFFERS PETER A JOB and acts as a FATHER FIGURE to Peter, even giving Peter an NYC apartment RENT-FREE. I don't think anyone grasps how generous and considerate this is. Peter makes it his personal business to contradict Norman and fight him, imposing his naive will in a situation he knows little to nothing about. Peter not only refuses Norman's gifts, but he physically attacks Norman. Norman makes a generous offer to Peter. Instead of having a serious conversation or coming to an agreement, Peter interjects with bad humor, one-liners and an askew sense of responsibility. Peter becomes romantically involved with Norman's son's girlfriend, MJ Watson. Norman is KILLED fighting this CHILD. Peter Lies to Harry about multiple things and kisses MJ at Norman's funeral. Norman was the protagonist in my eyes. You CANNOT tell me Norman was the bad guy. Anyone who thinks Norman was the villain is wrong. He was a VICTIM and what happened to Norman was TRAGIC.
In Spiderman 2 J. Jonah Jameson is pitching names for Doc Ock and one of the names pitched is “Dr. Strange” to then Jameson replied “It’s taken” thus making Dr. Strange cannon in Spiderman 2
Andrew Garfield's Peter is the one who seems amazed and somewhat confused by the fact that magic exists. Tobey McGuire just walks through the portal like he was expecting it. He seems to be aware that magic exists.
@killabean990 If Dr. Stange exists in Tobey's Spider-Verse, it opens the door to the possibility that his Spider-Man has face magic users before. Man-Wolf, Dracula, Morbius, Baron Mordo, Dormamu, etc
I've always wanted to see live action adaption of Scorpion. They could use part of Doc Ocks tentacle that was cut off by Goblin in NWH to create Scorpions tail and J.K Simons Jameson help fund to create Scorpion. Other good option is to use Vincents Kingpin as one who funds Scorpion and Scorpion becomes his assassin and Daredevil and Spider-Man need to team up.
And in Marvel's Spider-Man (2018) there's a mention of him in the holographic table, his laboratory is the only one that is not under the protection of Sable, which indicates that is isolated from other Oscorp centers, which at this point, everyone imagines the reason.
Fun Fact: Sam-Raimi actually wanted Spider-Man 4, 5 & 6 to be the Sinister Six Saga featuring Vulture (John Malkovich), Lizard (Dylan Baker), Kraven (Jemaine Clement), Hobgoblin (Aaron Eckhart), Carnage (Jim Carrey) and Electro (???). The next antihero-turned-ally after James Franco's New Goblin would've been either Black Cat or Vulturess (Anne Hathaway). There would also be C and D-list villains who would briefly appear including the Prowler, the Shocker, Stilt Man, a "onesie-wearing" version of the Rhino, and the first one being Mysterio, who would've been played Sam Raimi's good friend by Bruce Campbell.
@@greenlanternaquaman Spider-Man 2 & 3 were originally going to be a lot like these idea, but Avi Arad kept shadow directing Sam Raimi because war-triangles are not their strong points. We almost had 4 villains in Spider-Man 2 instead of just Doc Ock.
I'd like to see Ned get framed as the Hobgoblin, forcing Peter to get involved as Spider-Man to clear his name. Since it would certsinly add to Ned's confusion about Spider-Man. While he may not remember Peter, he and MJ would still remember that they helped Spider-Man during No Way Home. They just wouldn't understand why they were involved. Having Spider-Man actively seek out Matt Murdock to represent Ned, as well as take it upon himself to discover Roderick Kindsley to be the resl Goblin, would be a good way of bringing Peter's friends back into his life
This would probably be the best way to do it because I’ve always thought the idea of Ned becoming Hobgoblin was really stupid I know it happens in the comics but I just can’t imagine this specific version being a compelling villain or the actor even having enough range to go from quirky best friend to villain
They actually used pro wrestler and Late Great Mega Power Macho Man Randy Savage as Ultimate Spider-Man wrestling villain (heel), Greg Bonesaw McGraw. Despite being a supposedly well documented fan of the original, Sam Ramey instead chose to go with the late great Macho Man as Bonesaw instead of Macho Man's Mega Powers teammate, 3 Ninjas 4 High Noon at Mega Mountain Star Dave Dragon himself, Hollywood Hulk Hogan as I think and want to say his name was Jack Crusher Hogan.
I agree with the Scorpion thing, he needs to get an debute in the live action movies, we only saw him in Spiderman into the spiderverse, and no other new movies
You forgot Flash Thompson as Agent Venom. Another reason Morbius couldn't be used by New Line Cinema for Blade 2 is they didn't own the rights to the character. When Marvel was going through financial difficulties and started selling off cinematic rights to various characters and groups such as The X-Men and Fantastic Four along with Spider-Man, Sony got all Spider-Man agacent characters. And while Morbius flits between a Blade character. He is more commonly associated with Spider-Man. Same with how Fox realised they didn't have rights to Galactus in the Fantastic Four movies and couldn't secure the rights from Marvel who were in talks of being brought by Disney at the time.
If Daredevil, Punisher, Ghost Rider and Blade connect with Rami's Spiderman the could possible a chance that he can also appear in some Marvel Knights Productions projects even though having so many potential but it failed
Curt Connor isn’t a villain, Lizard is… If you had read that issue of Spiderman where the Punisher debuts you would know he wasn’t a villain, he had been hired by the Jackal through Kingpin to take out Spiderman, convincing Castle that Spiderman was a villain, but as Castle was stalking him he realizes he was lied to, which doesn’t end well for Jackal…
They could have did the mcu connected universe theme along time ago with raimi spider man, fox men, blade, daredevil, ghost rider, and punisher. It would have been better.
I agree! I never really liked Harry's "New Goblin" design, they should've commited to either fully making him the second Green Goblin or better yet, they could've had Harry create the Hobgoblin identity to continue his father's legacy while also having a more distinct identity
That would be way better than MCU Ned being Hobgoblin since the whole trilogy leads up to the conflict between Harry and Peter and Harry constantly grappling with his darker side plus James Franco is way more believable in an action type role than the actor who plays MCU Ned
Would love to see the hob goblin, my favourite Spider-Man villain! :-) Also not gonna do the spider verse movies or the Sony spinoff movies of which John Jamison also makes a cameo in the first venom? :-) Or other Spider-Man related characters that appeared In other Spider-Man movies such as Morbius in blade II?:-)
Hobgoblin is awesome!! Always loved his design and he'd be really cool to see in live action. I considered elaborating more on the Sony spin off movies but I'm planning on making a video in the future (probably after Kraven releases) talking more in depth about those movies, and I also thought that this video was getting a bit too long lmao
In Secret war, go CRAZY: Wesley Snipes’ Blade Bruce CampBell Mysterio Bring BACK all Mr Fantastic and all FF Tom Cruise Iron Man John Malkovitch and Michael Keaton Vulture
Well technically in No Way Home after Ned told Peter that he was magic he said "And I promise you. I won't turn into a super villain and try to kill you."
Fun fact that they actually used Raimi version of Lizard in Spider-Man 3 movie tie-in game. I think it wasn't Dylan Baker thou who voiced him in the game but some other voice actor. They also modeled game universes Connors to resemble Dylans Connors. And i personally liked spider-man 3 game version of Lizard. That game still to date is very underrated but it was my first PS3 game and i enjoyed it. Voice acting was pretty bad thou i have to admit that.
I would love to see Hobgoblin sometime, but I also want a street level story with Kingpin so I’m excited to see what they do in Spider-Man 4. Hopefully they find a way to tie in Scorpion as well.
Another fun fact: In Spider-Man Homecoming when Peter is walking to his locker a teenage girl with white hair walks behind him she could be Black Cat Or not cause its an extra
funny about Ned Leeds, in No Way Home, both Peters, Tobey and Andrew, said that their Harry´s turned into supervillains who tried to kill them. Ned goes to his Peter and makes the promise that he will never try to kill him, if He ever becames a villain.
I’d like to see a street level crime focused movie in Spider-Man 4 with Scorpion as the main villain but also Tombstone and Kingpin battling for power in the background. Spider-Man could stop some smaller villains at the start as a homage to the original Spider-Man 4 like Overdrive, Speed Demon, Hydro Man and White Rabbit.
Fun Fact: In The Amazing Spider-Man when Peter sits with Gwen at the end you can see a poster of a jackal which references Miles Warren as The Jackal from The Clone Saga
You know what actually would have been impossible for Curt to become a Lizard in the movie because he's got a completely different type of job, he makes this clear in Spider-Man 3.
Been waiting for Kraven and Black Cat to appear next in love action. Also, ik it's weird but I used to think Donald Menken was Chameleon for some reason.
Fun fact Spider-Man neighbor was post be be kraven the hunter and another fun fact Tobey maguire had a cameo in the dark knight there was a poster in the background when joker was standing before the bank heist
@@ivanthekillerofthanosiamir5002 Mr. Ditkovich becomes Kraven again because Peter doesn't pay his rent and movie will be called Kraven - The Hunt For Rent.
10:02 honestly, i thought an upcoming avengers movie would include spiderman and wolveirne in it, maybe daredevil and blade, but, that wouldn't happen, oh well, at least the MCU connects to the other marvel movies now
If you think about it mcu Ned Leeds is more the equivalent to spider man villain the spot has the power Ned open wormhole is pretty much the same gimmick to the spot has Ned is written to have a genius level thec Genius and again that what the profession that the comic spot is
Honest to God would have preferred if they had decided to use The Lizard in Spider Man 3 as the main villain but instead they chose Sandman and Sony wanted Venom.
Completely agree! Morbius also isn't really a villain and neither is Venom at this point, but I still included them because they are related to the video's subject.
Punisher originally appeared as vigilante as antagonist to Spider-Man. Now they can use Jon Bernthals Punisher with Tom Hollands Spider-Man maybe J.K Simons Jameson tricks Punisher to go after Spider-Man.
But what would be reason for them to fight? Venom is basically hero in his universe in similar sense than Punisher only difference to Spider-Man being that he kills.
18:52…BRUH…it’s the “Sinister Six” for the love of comic books! Alright complaint to video narrorater finished and now for the artist that did the cover of the comic at 18:52, what in the lord voldemort is going on there? Haha alright, it’s clearly past my bedtime, I’m out!
Why do you put enfaces on every sentence it’s so annoying This is how you talk: “when Peter. Goes to. The Daily Bugle. And talks to. JJJ. Blah. Blah. Blah”
@@tokyonostalgia888 first off im 25, second i have adhd, third r u really gonna sit here and tell me this mf HAD to say all that just to get to the damn point
First of all, don't tell me you saw Mendel as a comic book character in the first movie as "Obvious", literally no one remembers that character, you're capping. Second of all, let people have fun enjoying movies. You aren't superior to anyone for being a jerk.
@@thegreatacolyt1277bro i thought i was a big fan of the raimi films and knew everything but i was genuinely surprised by some of these villains. Not everyone knows everything you know
Thank you for the feedback, I'm constantly trying to improve with each video and I'm working on reading the scripts with a less monotone voice (also the fact that I live in South America and don't get to speak in english every day probably affects my speech now that I think about it lol)
Haven’t watched the video just looked at the thumbnail but even if you didn’t know the name Connors the fact that a university professor with a missing arm was in a spider-man movie should have tipped you off that he could’ve been the lizard
