I recorded my unboxing days before the review but posted later for content reasons so if I wanted to read it I probably could BUT I’ve read pretty much my entire collection when it comes to the big 2 in single issues and review the stories from memory and a flip through as a refresher. Don’t have the same luxury for indies which is why those take longer to come out. A slight plus for having a weirdly good memory when it comes to comics haha
Hickman is typically a great story teller so it’s 9 times out of 10 a safe bet. I think this story performs better then his others in my opinion because of how grounded (relative to Hickmans other stories) the characters and plot is. It feels so much easier to understand and far less far fetched of a idea then some of his other storylines. Still Hickman is GREAT but I just found myself really enjoying this with the spy/government themes in the marvel world.
He is very high brow when it comes to most titles and concepts he writes. I find myself really enjoying this one probably the most out of them all because of the more grounded setting and approach to the story rather then the timelines and multiverses Hickman typically dives into.
