I love it when 30 seconds of info is drug out into over 8 minutes. - swordfish: do all the fishing hut deliveries in Ravensthorpe. - gorgon's shield: do all the Roman Artifact deliveries at the museum in Ravensthorpe. - hunter bow: do all the hunter deliveries at the hunter's hut in Ravensthorpe. There, I just saved you 8 obnoxious minutes.
same with the fire ring hence why i am atm experimenting with kopis+briton shield healy weapon+shield combo and so far only downside in this combo i see kopis being dagger facing me to go so close i can smell enemy´s breath,but other than that i love the weapon
I personal just dual wield excalibur and Caliban great sword just do that much damage that fire and poison not needed. For now just use spartan light bow because with slow down time bow skill fully upgraded you can end up clearing screen of enemies
Hey, I have a theory that the next Assasin's Creed might be Rome. I feel like they have been hinting it a lot in Valhalla, you can even find Roman artificats and it has a lot to do with Rome, someone even said "Rome is fascinating," something like that! And you said they hinted Valhalla in Division 2 so they could be hinting a Rome game. But I really hope they do Ancient China, or Feudal Japan, Tsarist Russia, and the Spanish Empire like someone else suggested. But Rome is also one of them that I want.
I don't want another greek/rome game. I want them to go to feudal japan, or mongolia or even the period of the Chinese Emperor who buried himself with those terra cotta armies. Maybe even something in Persia during the period when Alexander the Great broke the persian empire. Since he was associated with the Order of the Ancients in the game and known as the "proto templar". This would tie origins & odyssey more closely since it was Darius (from odyssey) who assassinated Xerxes I (who was being helped by the Kult of Kosmos) in his invasion of greece. And his father, Darius I was an ally of the Order of Ancients. Darius basically started what would become the brotherhood. Since alexander used the trident piece of eden and was assassinated by one of his own generals it already makes sense with the narrative in the game. It would be cool to play as his general thinking you're on the right side of things trying to cripple the Persian empire only to find out he's your enemy & secretly trying to retake Persia for the Order of Ancients. Especially after Darius assassinated Xerxes I to stop the order of Ancients & cult of Kosmos there. I would like the games to go further east though. Though the early slavic regions would be cool. Or way back to ancient Babylon & Mesopotamia. And something like in south america with the aztecs or mayans and something to do with the disappearance of those civilizations since we know the brotherhood made allies with them.
Great content as usual! I was about to send you content about the shield you get from the roman artifact but you beat me to it 😉 I would love to get the swordfish weapon but there are some issues with some fish spawn. In my game no fish spawn in the ocean. They only spawn in rivers. So i can’t get the one that only spawn in ocean. Another bug in AC Valhalla 😅 i’m not the only one with that issue.
I'm still gonna grind for the swordfish and the magyar bow even though they'll be annoying and time consuming to get I just like having all the secret weapons in these games.
This is just disappointing. I get that this weapon is a callback to a previous entry in the series, but it takes a lot of work to get it and anything that requires so much much work to earn should really be something you're proud to have, not a weapon that's just silly and ugly and only fun for 10 minutes before you start to resent having it in your inventory.
As of today theres a new bow... go to the lake on the very top of the map below the viewpoint... there is a little island on it with an ore that is unbreakable... save the game... hit it a few times... save it again... then LOAD that save... hit it a couple more times... then save it again... then load that save... On the 3rd or so time you load back in you will get the NODENS ARC mythical hunter bow... It's practically the Excalibur of the Bows... has a bright yellow light bowstring and its badass
Did you know Excalibur is buggy? The blind triggers after a crit right? I got runes that also have on crit effects perks and it seems that the blind nolonger trigger on a crit strike. If I put a fire on crit or heal on crit, I see the flames or heal but not the blind, when I crit. Any chance we get a Excalibur buff? After all that work, all we get is a GS with a silly 1 sec blind. Been playing avond with it and i was hoping to get a more OP Excalibur with higher stats and/ or more epic perk effect.
You know what I don’t have Jor? The last mission, Lucysijdai lady is dead and I can’t complete the game! Waiting for new patch to fix this, any idea when the soonest can be?
Next big update (including new content like river raids and community activities) is scheduled for mid december which is really soon. They will likely fix some bugs but you cant tell which ones cause there are MANY....

I like dual wielding a great sword in main hand a a dagger in my offhand. The offhand dagger creates a poison cloud on perfect parry and the option to get in close and jab the dagger then back off and then have room to swing the greatsword is nice.
Dont ever let no body change the way you say Best Weapon on each Weapon being the Best Weapon. Because at that present time it is the Best Weapon until you cross paths with a even more better Weapon. When I hear you say Best Weapon. That instantly makes me want to take Spider-Man Miles Morales out of my PS5 and put Valhalla in so I can hunt down that specific Weapon. I start a region and finish it before moving on to a new area. There are a few things that you have to come back for later in a few areas, for the most part I get all the collectables
Bow fishing isn't really the fastest way to get the fish you need. Two methods work best. Riding in rivers on horseback and just kicking them works fine. However, the fastest way to reach the quota is to just find a nice wide shallow spot, such as the stream to the south of Northwic, and the bay in the north eastern part of East Anglia, and just run around with dual spears for a bit. You can get most of the fish this way, and grab the rest via horseback fishing.
I got a shield that does exactly what the gorgon shield does and it's way easier to get. There's this gear chest in the glowcestrescire area I wanna say? It's inside of a hill and you have to find 3 nearby keys to unlock it. It's really easy to get the keys though and it's already flawless upon picking it up.
I got to realize that's not the only bow with the health regen on weak point hit, so I haven't even pursued it much haha I prefer ranged damage on hit anyway so Hunnish is my go to bow. Enjoyed the video. Also I did not know you could retrieve arrows from focus of Nornir! Thanks! 💯
That depends comoletely on which features you like in a weapon. There really is no one "best" anything in this game. It's all subjective and depends on what playstyle you play, what weapon features you like, etc. All weapons and weapon types are a balance between different traits, like high damage vs high speed. Do you like high damage despite low speed, or do you prefer high speed despite less damage? That's the kind of question you have to consider. Whether its hunter bows, spears or daggers, armor or shields, there's always a few tradeoffs you have to consider for your own playstyle whether it's damage vs speed, or reach vs speed, etc. And that's all before you even consider each item's individual perk. You just have to try them out and see which one fulfills your own subjective preferences because a lot of people are going to have _wildly_ different answers based on their different preferences, and they're all "correct."
really depending on 2 factors-what kind of a bow you prefer (since there are runes with these effects able to be slotted,literally having 2 major runes with same effect as viper bow does have,placed it on kopis,the healing dagger as its a fast weapon) and the other part are the perks the bows have.might be able to find some weapon lists on the internet
It really is. It's the kind of thing that's fun for 10 minutes and then you start to resent seeing it in your inventory. I wish such a difficult and time-consuming challenge would've been rewarded with something worth having rather than just a meme.
I got the bonebitter and sutr sword ⚔️ 🔥- but I want to find a nice double sided axe 🪓 before i finally get ODins weapon gunrfrie( spelt that horrible lol ) so I can weild either axe next to the spear - I’m kinda hyped u just need the adrenaline slot done and put the daggers in the back of the berserker statue - I didn’t get to yet so I don’t no the encounter yet herd it a good one but be ready lol - I would love to get Thor’s hammer but man that is a lot to do I’ll get it after ( I think u have to beat the game anyway lol ) odins spear looks mint!
I ran with 2 shields for a minute for a ubisoft achievement. I ran with the Gorgan shield and the Blodwulf shield and I rarely triggered either of their parry abilities
I had a glitch occur yesterday where I purchased iron from the shop and accidentally hit some button and the game glitched and reset the shop while still awarding me the iron. I haven't been able to replicate it yet but if you could it would be pretty broken
Got them all bar the swordfish. The brown bear is a pain with it's one location. Polar bears are easier with two locations to get them from. One being less of a fall risk though fewer bears.
Iv been "bow fishing" for ages, not selling the fish yet.. I'll have hundreds of them before I start delivering. After that I can specifically hunt the remaining ones.

You pronounced the Magyar hunting bow wrong its actually my home country's name in Hungarian so it's actually Hungarian Hunting Bow. Hungarian people were nomads before 1001 and my people used this bow to crush and raid everybody in europe (between germany and Croatia) but then the knights came and a bow can't penetrate iron so they were srewed but then we became christian and everybody let us live for some time. XD But then my country was fully destroyed after WW1 with an unfair peace treaty

2:04 i prefer for my playstile using the special run that on parrys has a likely chance on having everything and person be lit on fire in nearby range.
I played through once. I don't really wanna play it twice. I played odyssey like 4 or 5 times. I think Vahalla is better but something about it makes me not wanna do a second play through.
In the video it was mentioned that a list of hunting locations would be posted, but I don't see it here. Did I miss something or has it just not been posted?
If you still have story missions every time you complete an objective the vendor resets. You do not have to wait to fully complete a mission just an objective.
Literally zero interest in copy-pasted weapons. Plus, the swordfish is a pretty underwhelming reward for spending hours collecting fish. I'm not much for joke weapons that I have to actually work for...
