Thanks to Blaise for the great race we had in the second stint. This is easily the best Indycar combo on iRacing and its not even close. Yes, better than Indianapolis. The oval package for the Indycar on iRacing is just generally disappointing because it resembles almost nothing that I see when I watch Indycar oval races. Hopefully that gets improved in the future.

Is it just me or is dirty air on Indycar ovals on iRacing so much worse than real life? It’s impossible to make moves unless you’re in the top 5

@@prestigioususe2713 From memory, the last update to the model affecting aeropush was made after input from real drivers. I would say Indianapolis is pretty close to what we see but the lack of a real bottom groove with grip makes it extremely difficult to make up ground because it's not impossible at real Indy but still difficult. Plus the setup "box" is so small because we have to drive within iRacing parameters (can't drive a loose oval car, no significant tire fall off) that even if you have a strong car it's difficult to advance up the order. All reasons for me to believe that Indycar on iRacing definitely needs an oval refresh.

Love this combo so much, would love to see stuff like this on the channel as can't always watch your "tryhard" streams due to time zone differences, so its cool to see some of those races on here.

I could be wrong but unless its a fake account (idk how common that is on iracing), the fool who almost backed into you at 5:07 is indynxt driver and overall hunk Jacob Abel. Great drive!
