Such an incredible and factual channel with an extensive insight into the German war machine infrastructure of World War 2. Being a British citizen and growing up, we only really learnt about WW2 from a British perspective. The German army were incredible engineers and phenomenal builders when it came to defensive positions. Keep up the incredible content. Danke

I am amazed by these defensive fortifications. The engineering and dedication put into constructing and operating them are truly impressive. The individuals who worked on them must have taken great pride in their work. It's incredible that you and EE get to walk where The Wehrmacht once did. Thank you both for your hard work and "Good Hunting."

Just what I needed after 2 grueling N's in the ER a video from my favourite ❤WW2 History Hunter. The German military seemed to provide/treat their troops by making available best protection and/or resources needed. I would say better than most countries if not all, during times of war. Also, can't deny that they seemed to be advanced in much of their weaponry, aircraft, tanks, u-boats, engineering and designing of military structures. Much of their expertise is used today. Thanks for another amazing real life, genuine, and factual video on yet another interesting WW2 site. Stay safe HH & EE.

Truly a spectacular defensive position. They certainly put in a massive effort to reinforce that site. The stone walls, and near defence positions, alone would have taken a lot of time and manpower. It is a shame that the observation bunker was sealed up, but you can clearly see why they built it there. The view from the top, even through todays trees, looked amazing. Over the surrounding hills and out to the horizon. Seriously impressed with the amount of work that the Germans put into that location, AND, the amount of time and effort that you and EE, put into bringing this incredible place to us. Thank you both for everything you do for us! Stay safe!

Seeing all those defensive lines was amazing! Loved seeing how they did them. Way to see that "pig tail" EE! The location of it would make it hard to see. I loved how they had that 20mm AA position and the small cave like bunker below there that was prob used for the crew's safely. I could totally spend the weekend in that area!!!! Absolutely lovely. You better believe I will give loves and thumbs up for EE ❤❤👍👍. 9 1/2 hrs IS a long time to be walking and exploring mountainous and sometimes treacherous terrain. We appreciate every effort you you make. I don't think for a moment that man scared the 💩out of you HH. Nothing seems to scare you, but spiders. Thanks for taking us into the bunker where the FLAK gun would have been situated. I could imagine Wilhelm, Hans, and Friedrich running up those steps at great speed when the event warranted it. However, I can't begin to imagine 16 yr old boys going off to war and fighting a battle they didn't choose. So many young lives cut short. Of course, EE found the Pigtail holder for the German barbed wire fence. True to his name, he is. Very smart recycling pervious military sites from WW1 and reinforcing or improving upon where needed. Excellent position for a defensive position. No, I did not whimp out HH and watched right to the end as I always do. In fact, will be watched again at some point. Thank you so much HH and EE. Hugs

It's really sad that the bunkers are no longer standing but thanks to you and Eagle Eyes these are now recorded to history. I loved the fact they put that one bunker in between the mountains. It is hard to believe it is a very small fragment of Festung Europa way from France up to Norway. Must say that the Germans built those bunkers or whatever with excellent skills! Good job 👍 👍 👍
