Rajiv Ji is absolutely right , once again. While Indians have inherited their Indic principles and disciplines , without the opportunities they found in America they could not have succeeded . Everyone one of us in US is an example of that .

I lived in the US, came from India. My children are educated and are working. My living is still Indian, my children are US style. We are happy. One reason! we are all University graduated professionals. Living well. Coincidentally all our Indian families are professionals. If any student doesn't go to university and end up working low jobs is "seen" as a failure. There is a temple. (Girls learn Indian dance and music) Indian grocery store. Indian restaurant. This template is in big cities East and west. Indians don't flock together and live, unlike Chinese. (China town) This is one good reason why Indians mix with the public and live like Americans.

Friends, it is all great to upvote this video and praise Rajiv Malhotra for what he is doing. However, money is needed to get these things done. Rajiv is literally a one-man army fighting a vast network that is trying to undermine dharma and destabilize India. Please consider making a monetary donation to Infinity Foundation. I personally consider donation to IF more beneficial than giving to temples.

I totally agree with Rajiv. The best lot from best institutions of india who went to USA and other countries and have done very well where merit is rewarded and infrastructure is place to out perform others. In india the same kinds of people will give performance efficiency of 30 to 50%. In addition, india huge burden of reservations, BHAI BHATIJABAD, VERY VERY POOR quality of political leadership. Armed forces are comparatively better of because above ills are minimal there. Then we have public sector which was necessary at some point of time. Now these are performing at @ around 40% performance level. It is going to take long long time before india comes close to USA level. Best of luck!!! Well done Rajivji. Some learning for every one.

This may be my most favorite talk, as Rajivji first time probably sharing how he sadhguru influenced him by first making him experience the the knowledge विशालता of atma, the same divinity resides in others. ब्राह्मण का अर्थ होता है जो ब्रीहद है, बृहद का अर्थ ही विशाल, और क्षुद्र माने जो सीमित है, जो अपने सीमित दायरे का सोचता है। और जो दूसरों के लिए और जगत के कल्याण के लिए जीता है वही ब्रामण या गुरु है। ब्राह्मण को हम पुरोहित भी कहते हैं इसका भी अर्थ यही होता है की जो पूरे समाज का हित चाहता है!

To the extent I have read/understood the UDHR vis a vis our own/INDIAN Constituion. The former focuses more about human rights and "freedom to....." , not so much of our own discipline to learn about "freedom from".. ego and its various manifestations. Indian constitution deals both with rights as well as our responsibilities/duties, so that the freedom and rights will be meaningful for building a great society.

Success in you dialogue means monetary success. Again not every Indian American is as successful as Sunder Pitchai or Nadella. Msny Indians in India have to work hard and do not have time for hard introspection and find time for daily practice of Yogic methods.

Another Point of view is that not all NRIs became like Rajiv Malhotra ji. They also learned to become selfish like Americans and just enjoy the American Dream. Namita, you seem to be against individualism which means you are a collectivist. Do you know the main difference between a collectivist and an individualist/? An individualist can face reality alone because he is capable of reasoning. Here reasoning means AKKAL. A collectivist is not capable of reasoning. No AKKAL or very little AKKAL. That is why a collectivist is always in a group. That explains the caste system. A collectivist survives by using others. Most Indian arranged marriages fail within a week because the foundation is money and prestige. The wife and husband ae not faithful to each other. Rational criticism of individualism is OK but please don't shoot from the hip.

Dear Rajiv Ji, If everyone becomes an Engineer or a Doctor then many engineers and doctors will be unemployed. Again your equating every Indian to a Government employee which is totally bullshit. In India Manufacturing and Computer Technology jobs also need competent and hardworking people and I know there are many who work as hard their compatriots in USA or the West of course without an compsrable monetary success. You will be mocking such individuals and thoughtlessly shaming them. I think you are not that well versed with the actual Indian scenario. There are those who stayed back after getting degrees from IITs and IIMs and worked as hard as their compatriots in America without a major success in monetary gains. Now India will surely succeed in developing new technologies and improve upon existing technologies henceforth. Again after humongous destruction of our people ans society for 700 years by the Islamists and then by the British in a systematic insidious manner for 300 years, you still think Indians will be able to abide by Vedic Societal ethos, then it is really the height of warped thinking. It will take lot of time for this to happen and fence sitters will never understand. There is no magic wand to bring back Vedic culture in a jiffy. Somehow you seem to be in a big hurry and sometimes emulating Dr Subramaniam Swamy to some extent. Of course your contribution to our Indology is immense and extremely important. You have succeeded in opening a new front in the West to defend Indian thought, culture and philosophy. We are really grateful for your contribution towards the Bharateeya culture.
