This world has been here a long time. We walk, drive, build houses, parks, schools and other buildings over the dust of dead people. From dust we came and dust we will return.

I know of a cemetery, on a hill, in the median of an interstate in upstate S.C. it dates back to the Civil War. It's also in a small wooded cluster.
