The Frisk and Chara mysteries could represent the Souless Pacifist Ending. If you sell your soul to Chara to erase your save file, and the do Pacifist, the ending will change. Whether you stay with Toriel or leave, the ending will either show a picture of all your friends, all with Xs over there faces (Go back home), or you will wake up in the house with Chara’s face (Stay with Toriel). Sorry about that. 😅 Just something I felt like sharing.

No, it is named Chara. If you call yourself "Chara" in undertale, the screen will say "The true name" because **spoilers if you haven't finished undertale pacifist for some reason** when you name the fallen human, you're naming the one who fell and became Asriel's sibling, not the one that you play as (Frisk). Since "Chara" is the true name, that character is named Chara.
