how do you know if bloodthirst on puncture is working correctly. when i use it i see no indicator of a buff being applied to me. it says it grants me bleeding fury but i see no indicators of this happening. -- I'm running a bow bleed/poison falconer build
Items in the forge stay there and don't take up inventory space, so if you have a full inventory and a good item drops you can throw your largest piece of gear in the forge to free up inventory spots until you can get back to town.
Thank you Lucky Ghost. You point out so many things that other streamers have just skipped by. They call their guide 'beginner', but they have forgotten what us beginners don't know, so assume so much. This is the first time I have seen where to actually go to combine uniques and purples to make reds (see, I can't even remember the fancy descriptions!).
Thing I wish I knew sooner: It's so much better than D4 in every aspect. Deinstalled D4 and removed it from my steam account completely. Wasted 500+ hours with that crap, can't wait to spend time with Last Epoch!
i dont think ive gotten any crafting material yet for the forge, though i just started last night, is there a level range when one should expect them to drop more often? or is it more story progression when they start dropping? or am i just unlucky or maybe dont know where to look?
@@kenwolf6842 ya, i mena can still run all games just fine only one that really needs it is Allen Wake 2 , also would be good for rendering stuff for my school though shit is so slow compared to the schools computers that all have 4090s lol def not going for that one

People say this game has 'good loot' but I look at the mountains of trash that drops and I wonder what the fuck they're talking about. ITs just as bad as D4 with 10000 useless stats.
@@LuckyGhost That doesn't exist in D4 either, you're being hyperbolic. There is no affix in d4 with double conditional requirements. Still 99% of items that drop are useless due to random garbage affixes that shouldn't even exist. D4 has more useless stats sure, but if they added a fucking loot filter to d4 that wouldn't even matter. At least with d4 the combat is actually fun, LE combat is limp crap.
Plz dont compare ward to poe energy shield. It works completlly different and for poe players its more confusing than for people that didnt play Poe. Energy shield in poe is just another layer of life. If you have it then you have it and thats that. Ward is something that you have to actively maintain.

Offline Character Power can be manipulated in ways not intended by the developer or the monetization model. Thus Character Power is permanently tied either an offline or online realm. In other words - this ain’t a survival game.

Good stuff Lucky, thanks! From what I hear 1.0 will be a bit tougher for unplanned builds, and leveling won't be as easy as it has been, but we'll see today!
about resistances, in this game enemies get 1% penetration per level up to 75. so when you cap your resistances at 75%, high level enemies are already penetrating (lowering your resistances) by 75%, meaning you effectively have 0% resistance. also, when you have negative resistances, you are taking more damage from the respective damage type (-10% resistances = 10% more damage taken). that's why overcapping resistances can be useful vs enemies with attacks that shred your resistances since shred can result in your resistances being negative.
Thanks for posting this video! I put about ten hours into the game last night (currently struggling to stay awake at work) and Last Epoch is definitely leagues better than D4.

I sometimes wonder, if players nowadays even read the hints IN the Game. All that alt and alt +CTRL etc...ey, on every fuckin single item...it stands right below....so, a lot of these 'secrets' are no secrets....its just, ppl overlook it.....^^
Ohhh vitality gives poison and necrotic res That’s actually super helpful I didn’t knew that. right now I have every res 75% or above but I got mana issues now.. I’m 77 marksman right now. I guess I’m trying to get vitality and drop necr and pois res.
When you talked about despecializing a skill, you forgot to mention that you lose all experience in it. So if you wanted to play around with a new by I’ll d style, going back to your old build may require a bit of grinding.

I didnt even know I needed to watch this video, So many things answered in one line, Attunement, the three dungeons, although im not swimming in keys yet :) Im enjoying this game alot more thanks to you.
Ooh didn't know the purple items were exalted. I found a few that were really good resist but it had a crappy suffix that I didn't need, and if I were to use the item, my old item that has 2 resists would have the 2 resists lowered. So its kinda like a domino effect that if I were to use this, I would need to fix or find other gear to make up for the missing res on the old items.
@Lucky Ghost i don't like the whole idea of locking in the mastery ,had i friend who did that , then he didn't like the spec & wanted to change ..But to he's amazement he could respect Master he got so piss & won't to just quite the game because of this factor..He rerolled a norther char now he won't play that char at all now & i got him to 50 ,was levering him at the time..& yes i told him after , U didn't read when your spec & who does read any thing in games the's days lol & i know he never does lol

this is probably the most intuitive yet still complex top down game I've ever played. its easy to learn yet still complex. only thing i think they went to far on is the random chance when creating legendary items. it seems so counter intuitive the rest of the crafting seems almost entirely in the players hands with a tiny bit of random chance. then they hit you with the you with the you want perfect end game gear roll a d20.
Thanks for that vid! I was curious how respecing works in the game. It's not entirely free but I can deal with it and it will allow me to experiment with skills on my own a bit too without much fear. So far I know that only thing you cannot really respec is your subclass(lich, warlock, spellblade,druid and such) which makes sense. 11:05 I'm pretty sure, if you play offline, you can probably copy some files and backup them elswhere and you can check out a bit of every mastery this way before deciding on picking the one you want to go with. That's what I will try for sure.
I wish i knew i actually needed to invest time in a proper loot filter- but it would be dope to have one that also drops good and relevant rares for other classes so you can HOARD FOR ALTS!
I wish I knew sooner that the game has absolutely 0 difficulty, you'll speed through 20 enemies at a time like tissue paper. Then you get go Lagon and suddenly the game expects you to have the best gear and skills possible to deal with his multiple insta-kill AoEs
The only secret i learned is that you can't even play the game at this stage. Very bad connection problems. For all EU players. Don't buy the game yet.
