I have never seen someone teach the tip about the kitchen grater. Such a great way to make your cake look very professional. Thank you for that wonderful tip!
Gud evening ma, pls am a new follower, pls I made a cake for my customer I actually baked a cake and kept it in de freezer coz I was going to decorate it de next day, after the decorations the cake came out nice but when the customer sent me a picture of my cake about 3 hours later, my icing was melting already, but I did not crumb coat the cake, could dat be the reason why my icing was melting
I just want to say something I use my stand mixer to cream my butter icing but with a paddle attachment it comes out very fine but mix on a low speed like speed 2 pls try it if u can it won’t disappoint u pls trust me
For the butter cream i used 😂123g of butter with 500g of icing after mixing it i put it in the piping nylon but it was not coming out well I guess it was not soft enough how do i sort that out
Once you apply the cream on the cake and have leveled it allow it to stay for about 10min or until it doesn't stick to your hands ✋. Then you can smoothen it with a plain computer paper and a fundant smoother or with your hands. Thanks
Can you refrigerated your butter cream for a while as well. I made this buttercream but it was too soft that it was sticking to the cake comb. How do I tackle this?
You're very right ma. Pipping method is the best 🎉😊 But ma, is 1kg icing sugar not too big for 250grams of margarine? I thought it was 250grm of margarine to 500grm of icing sugar.
