Thank you, luckily the bruise isn't too bad and the hip joint seems okay. It just took me out of commission for a couple of days. I'll be 100% in no time :)
Get a harness, rig a safety line and stop going up the mast without a spotter handling the safety line. I have seen people die doing what you did.Please
Thank you for the advice. I'm a trained climber, my gear is for climbing mountains and rated for falls. (I'm not sure you saw the part of the video where I talked about using the harness and showed how I use it) The halyard is also rated for thousands of pounds and cleated off (not in someone's hand), and I had two people watching Incase there was an issue, not to mention, (besides being harnessed in and attached to the halyard with a climbing prusik as a backup) I was primarily climbing via the mounted steps. there was no fail point that put me at risk of injury or death
