Security Guard Brings Home A Pregnant Stray Cat | The Dodo Foster Diaries 

The same thing happened to us. A male started coming around, and we started to feed him. About a month later he brings us his buddy, a very young adult cat. Within a month after that we noticed she was growing in more ways than one. He was very friendly. I believe he had a home at one time, but as for her, she was very skittish and very hard to pet or even touch. We ended up catching them both and within a day and a 1/2 after finally catching them we had a beautiful litter of 4. He is truly a baby daddy, he loves her so much and he loves the babies too. He was neutered two days after the babies were born, lol so there's no chance of him inpregnating her again, but they are inseparable. The babies are now 10 weeks old.

Tree kitty is so inteligent! She identified a good person and sticked to him knowing his heart will finally melt. Got herself a good loving home and good future for all of her kittens. She's a good mom and a good, smart cat ❤️

Only a real man will admit that such a small creature makes him happy. 🥺 What a lovely family you have. ❤

There are no coincidences. She picked you. She knew where to go for help. Same thing happened to me but Emmy let herself in through a doggy door. I had her 18 wonderful years! Thank you for the rescue! 🐾♥️🐾

I love how mamma cats know they need humans to help when they are about to nest and give birth.

I have a very similar story from the past, saving a stray, pregnant cat and keeping one of the girls.....she lived to be 18.5 years old and I felt like my world stopped when she died. May your cats and you be blessed with long and happy lives. Also, just so you know, it is a high honor to be chosen by a cat in that way, only the truly worthy are eligible.

I've always believed that, our fur babies choose us. We really don't, choose them. Tree Kitty knew she'd be safe with you. What a beautiful story! ❤

It's so crazy, when you can feel those tiny paws reaching out from the inside. Lol considering they have tiny claws, it probably feels less than amazing to the momma cat ❤

A similar thing happened to us in 2000. A pregnant kitty cat walked up to us in the late evening. We didn’t know the catermelon was going to give birth since she was so thin. Lo and behold, the next morning, there were 3 babies. And that’s how I got my Lily for 18 glorious years. Edit to add, mama and the other 2 sibs found great homes as well.

We had a similar experience!! My grandad used to feed nearly 15 stray cats and used to adore them . After he passed away we shifted near them to take care of my grandma. Ended up getting our own cat and then started feeding the ones that came to us. This one specific very friendly and a very pregnant cat ‘Minnie’ became a regular at our place. She ended up giving birth to a small litter and brought the kittens to us. She has been coming to us for nearly a year now and gave birth to a second litter just last month ❤

The scene where she was petting the orange kitten with her finger made my heart burst with happiness

She was looking for a family, kind, generous people that would give her babies love, warmth and good forever homes. Clever mama knew they shouldn't have to grow up homeless. Tree Kitty found the best of the best and got herself and her babies the best new life. Also love how Tree Kitty's step-sibling is checking in after she's given birth. "You good? Congratulations!"

My husband and I were sitting in front of our house. We saw a pregnant cat coming up the sidewalk. She walked up the driveway, up the walk, across the stoop and into the house like she did it every day. It still cracks me up to think about it. One kitten was the world's noisiest nurser. You could hear her all over the house.

What a great couple. No thinking twice, they just said "yes" to Tree kittie! I think there is hope in this crazy world. Great people exist all over the place!

It’s lovely that they spoke so calmly and lowly when she was in labor and the aftermath of her labor, animals can easily read and take after other’s emotions, if they had acted anxious or excited, she might’ve become very anxious herself and it’d be no good for her delivery

This was surely meant to be. Had a hostel cat walk into my friends room and make it her home for 2 weeks when she was pregnant. She birthed 5 kittens. One of them, runt of the little, was rejected by her and is the one you see in my profile picture. I had that kitten for over 2 years with me. She was a lovely friend. When covid started we had to rush to our places and I couldn't arrange anything to take her with me. She's in good hands with my friend's family but I still miss her. To have a kitty come into my life when I was deeply unmotivated, depressed and change it all upside down, it was all meant to be. I started getting up early cause she wont let me sleep past sunrise. I studied and she'd be lying next to me chilling. Slow blinks, cuddles and everything when I got distracted from study. People would actually come over daily just to play with the cat. Oreo was everything I could've wished for, a perfect pet. Stories like these remind me how much a pet can change somebody's life in such a short span. You guys are lucky to have her.

This happened to me 4 years ago. I was working on cleaning out a rental and the tenants had left a cat behind. She kept jumping in my car. When I realized she was pregnant, I brought her home and set her up in the basement. She had 6 kittens 2 days later. Found good homes for the kittens with people I'd known for years. I kept momma and one kitten. I feel honored every day that she chose me. Animals are a gift.

This touched my heart! Tree kitty absolutely knew what she was doing, sweet lil girl. I'm so thankful she found a forever home.

Cats choose us. Even if you go to a breeder, it happens, they look at you as if to say "pick me!" Cats are affectionate, intelligent and very calming to us humans. This couple did an amazing job, and I thank them for it. 💜

Tree Kitty is such a sweetheart! She found Michael and fell in love! It truly was destiny! ❤️🐱 I love this! It’s so refreshing to hear a happy story! I came across a bunch of kittens and their mama at Myrtle Beach and they were being cared for by the staff at the condo we were staying at and I referred to them as beach kitties! I said a little prayer for those sweet little kitties when hurricane Ian hit, but I have faith that the staff who seem to love them so much made sure they were safe.

Thank you for rescuing her and finding loving homes for her and her babies! She obviously had great instincts! I particularly loved that you gave her the iPad for stimulation and that you sacrificed an entire bath tub to make her and her babies a nest. That was extremely generous on your parts! I've found that my clowder is very cooperative and loving. Mothers will raise their babies together, taking turns and giving each other a break. If I find a stray kitten and I don't know who the mother is - we get cats wandering in and they don't always cooperate by having their babies in the nest we set up - I know I can count on any Mummy to raise it if I place it in her nest. We spay and neuter, but we don't always get it done in time; they often arrive at our door pregnant. I just can't say no when I see a hungry little face!!

Kitties are so amazing. My kitty picked me. She was in really bad shape but after two weeks at the doctor, my landlord brought her home to me- I guess she wanted me to have the kitty, she already had 3 of her own. In two or three weeks time, Peanut the kitty gave birth to 3 adorable babies. The doctor didn't think she was pregnant at first because she was so malnourished.
