An animation of a Sedimentary Exhalative (SEDEX) deposit forming. This animation describes the Sullivan deposit formation characteristics. This world class SEDEX deposit produced approximately 160 million tons grading approx 12% lead/zinc and 67g/t silver. It was closed in 2001 after almost 100 years of production. Geologically, it is located in the Aldridge Basin of Southeastern B.C. and formed approximately 1.34 billion years ago.
