Scenes from the "Spitfire on the Green" World War II re-enactment event at Sedgefield, July 21st 2013. We get to see actors portraying life on the Home Front, ably provided by the UK Home Front group and their "Bombed out Washer Woman", weapons demonstrations, period music by a George Formby lookalike, a lone piper, and views from the tents on the village green. We get to hear the bells of St Edmund's Church, Sedgefield, and end with the Last Post as everybody stopped to remember those lost during the War.
