Singers like Martha wash and Rachel McFarlane do not exist anymore. Just pure and exact, pitch and note perfect vocals. I can listen over and over and never tire of it. Sheer bliss.
Im supposed to be cleaning the house but cant seem to stop listening to all these fantastic tunes! Thank god for You Tube! I got rid of all of my vinyls, what a tragedy. Was 17/18 at the time, jumping into strangers cars, not knowing how to get home, huge convoys, off my head every weekend. Blackburn was the place to be and Quadrant Park, brown biscuits mad times.
A tune that has everything, still stands the test of time,as a real classic. Loved to hear it drop in the day and still sounds as fresh now. An antidote to the lock up blues if ever there was one...
EVERYTIME I think oh yeah this was deffo in my top 3 in 89/90 there’s always something else I remember.....loved our 89/90/91 parties. Love you tube now
25 in 89 these chunes reflect the best times in my life ,music to move to ,widow panes -micro dots rave to the bone N7 SW9 Big up to everybody who lived danced these sounds right down to the soul WISH I had a Time Machine Best spontanious Partaaay Rave was an eviction party in Dalston lasted till dawn SUNRISING:)
when that base guitar riff kicked in in the Hacienda with its weird acoustics the place came together as one and went totally mental everybody just stopped and cheered and danced there feet off
this defines the rave scene total emotion and fluid dance powered by a little bit of E but mainly by being together with a thousand people doing and feeling exactly the same way, we will do this again my friends the wheel turns and ravers yearn, and the angels from above will come down and give the ravers doves
I never had the privilege of going to Legends, I was a Club 4/Quad lad, but a few mates of mine used to be regulars there and the mix tapes they lent me always had this tune on, it reeks of Legends!!!
@smithdvr I am an old fucker , I was there during the second summer of love 88-92 and I don't care what anyone thinks, they really don't make em like they used to
@Julespent71 Matey, was there every step of the way...danced on the stage at Quaddie all the time. Best years of my life...n I was an oldie then at 29!! Dance on!! xxx

@@whatsinaname11 -- Monday nights, before it all got really mad. Back when James Barton was still just a ticket tout and not a global player in the music industry.
