** AS OF 05/07/2024 THE PARA APP IS NOT LONGER IN SERVICE** I go over the setup and benefits of using the Para app for ride share. Download Maxymo & use the code (Rob0486) to start your free trial. maxymoapp.com/...
Thanks for watching. I haven't experienced any issues lately. I would reach out to support to find out if there is a known issue. You might want to delete and reinstall too.
Last night I had some issues with the app too. I was not able to login. I removed the app and reinstalled it twice without success. Finally this morning it is back to normal. I'd give it another try.
I actually use both at the same time. I use Maxymo to filter based on $/mile, rider rating, distance to the pick up location and overall trip distance. I use Para for the geographic restrictions. Together they work well. I've ask Maxymo if they could include the geographic restrictions but they never replied.
Thanks for watching. I would suggest that is exactly what you want and should expect. The real question is, are you more profitable because of it? I have know idea what my acceptance rate is (Uber doesn't provide that metric here) but i would have to imagine it is around 60%. The alternative to that is, my cancellation rate is 1%. Mainly because, I am only accepting rides that work for me.
Yes, it makes it easy to multi-app. There are two ways you can use it, you can have Para on and it will show the offers as they come in and you can accept them in Para directly or you can accept the offers directly in Uber or Lyft. The one thing that it doesn't do that Maxymo does, is shut down the app that you didn't accept the offer in.
The thing to remember is, it is working in the background and the Uber app doesn't directly interface with Para. Para is accurate about 95-98% of the time. I'll take that effectiveness when it means better paying rides in the end.
