I’ve been trying to hide my dark circles since I was 13…I’m 20 now and just learned I’ve been doing it all wrong! I heard color correcting helped but didn’t realize HOW much. I’m all about simple, so I just skipped and always went with a lighter shade! GAh!
Okay I love the way I do my concealer. But Sometimes that grey affect does happen to me and I thought it was just bcuz the concealer is wearing off. But seeing your explanation the difference is so much more beautiful! This tips helps so much for darker skin tones!

Wow, I learned so much! My foundation shade is maybelline fit me 330, I used la girl pro concealer in the color fawn the other day for foundation, now I know to use it as a undereye concealer now too, and highlight a little bit with a lighter shade. Thank you!

I didnt have the different concealers but used my cappuccino (brownish) colour lipstick on my pigmentation under my skin toned concealer and it worked like a BOMB 💣. I have done my own makeup and sometimes a yellow undertoned concealer that is lighter can brighten and correct and highlight your face and work perfectly fine🙂so it varies on the look you want🙂in this video the concealer she she used that was lighter looked kinda cool undertones and if you are warm undertoned it will look ashy because of the undertone🙂but a lighter concealer in your correct undertone can definitely concealer underneath darkness and correct and brighten🙂so it varies on your undertones and your skin tone with the lighter concealer🙂definitely a decent video and some nice tips🙂💗

Me too once I tried to use it around my mouth 👄 area . I ended up with an orange beard 🧔 instead !!! So I had to wipe it all off .!!! Start again . Now I know to use the tinniest amount and blend very very well ! 😂😂😂👍
It use to be like that 😂, but now I use less amount of corrector and then blend it properly with my fingers then set it with less of less loose powder as Smitha mam says then foundation or concealer over that, it's pretty affective

@@begoodtoyourself9591 yes before foundation, you must know it if you are Smitha's follower she instructs to powder the corrector😊 and yeah it's absolutely oky for dry skin as well,as I have oily skin but the one who tells to do so has dry skin and that's smitha😊
Love u a lot smitha. U help us a lot with these tutorials. I was applying a lighter shade on my dark circles and it looked ashy. I dnt have an orange corrector yet but now i know that i can use a concealer 2 3 shades darker to color correct 🙏

This video helps a lot since when I was begining to learn how to put on makeup I used to put the concealer directly on my eyebags since that's what I usually see on makeup videos and I have no idea why the product doesn't blend well onto my skin and I sort of looked like I aged ten years than my original age. Then, I learned that you have to color correct first b4 applying the lighter shade of concealer under my eyes. Now, I finally have my answer about why the concealer looks that way when ever I applied it back then.

I wanted you to do this trick to cover dark circles cuz you always use a peach corrector nd I have horrible dark circles so I hope that it will work idk will it work or not but I'll try for sure nd I must say your creativity nd your teaching way is mind blowing!!!!
If u dont have any colour correctors or you've run out and dont have time to go buy another 1, u can also use an orangey peachy shade of eyeshadow under ur eyes an then apply a concealer on top
