Why did her aunt Lydia take her from her mom in the first place...of course if she truly wanted to be of help she could have done so from their home. This is truly evil of this boy!!! It would’ve been better if he paid restitution for what he done than of you her ending up marrying her rapist. He drugged and raped her which is an unlawful act.😢 her apologizing to her aunt for something she was unaware of doing is crazy. Her aunt should’ve come to her and apologized for not believing her after Mark confessed.

I was looking for this comment!.. I always tell myself that there is a Cultural difference when listening, but at some point Common Sense and Basic Survival Skills have to overrule politeness. I am not proud of mark . What he did and how he did it is pure wickedness. He made have turned around but he is not one of my favorite people. He is a monster and he behaved like one. If you like a young lady ,tell her. You could start a friendship that grows into a loving relationship. But what mark did is pure evil. It doesn’t matter that he came to apologize, and took care of them later on, his way of doing things is wrong.
