Bedankt Kayak voor alle fijne muziek die jullie altijd voor ons maakten! Ook dit nummer laat de geweldige muzikale hoogten van Kayak horen/zien! Max, rust in vrede!! RIP.
Then when a breeze blows Goes a guest to my glass It's the bare dazing dust Trust in tensile force The source of resistance has always been given Certainly take the hardness of a willow tree It is concealed in the nature of things Cheerful dancing feet Meet the surface of earth With a spring so strong Long ago the same The fame of all matter created by God
Why do I have to wonder when a chair replies It is concealed in the nature of things Feel the charm of you the chain will be bound Weakness by sweetness- oh Where are you tonight, the moon is round Clear cloudless sky- and then we'll see See the sun constantly run In a circle
Edward Reekers is een geweldige zanger. Songs als Phantom of the night en Ruthless Queen passen perfect bij zijn stem maar de stem en uitstraling van Max Werner was voor mij echt het geluid van Kayak.
Genius just genius! Kayak's music is achingly sweet and beautiful Edward sings this as good or even better than Max let's just say this does justice to that awesome original. Favorite band since 1995 when I was 19 and finally decided to hear them. Where is Johan Slager now? He was never to my knowledge part of the later lineups. My last name is Dutch, but i am from America where Kayak are fondly remembered for "Ruthless Queen" by a dying off fast few. I always thought their appeal was "Universal In Art." My own songs are heavily inspired by Ton Scherpenzeel although guitar is my instrument and Johan is a huge influence on my playing. Well done and rest in peace Pim Koopman you were the glue that held Kayak together in those years!
