I feel like the the kid who played Charlie had a very Broadway sounding voice if you know what I mean (around the end of Willy Wonka, Willy Wonka) and I don’t think it’s necessary for a roll like Charlie
I think he does read a little too young for the role. I think he's good, but it's like comparing another actor to Alex Brightman playing Beetlejuice, no matter how talented the person is, it's never gonna be the same.
