Being American I don't always understand the symbols of royalty but I love every bit of it. I thought Catherine, Sophie and two other ladies who might be Duchesses, who were all wearing those very royal looking long coats looked amazing. Catherine's headress was stunning and Charlotte's smaller version of it was spot on. I loved every minute of the whole coronation. I don't know of any other country on the planet who has a monarchy and celebrates it so spectacularly.

When you look at the Wales family, you see the greatness yet to come. All 5 of them have every reason to be proud of themselves today. Princess Catherine was a breathtaking standout; she looked ever inch a queen. Charles and Camilla, I am sad to say, looked pitifully like 2 old people in funny hats. Bear in mind that Queen Elizabeth II lived to be 96. Prince Philip died just shy of his 100th birthday. Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother lived to be 101. If Charles inherited the longevity genes, he could easily have a 20-year reign ahead of him, so we may well have a long wait for the Coronation of William and Catherine!

Camilla thought he would take a long time to come back and since she could not wait for him any longer, she chose to marry Andrew Parker Bowles.
