Thanks man! The whole song pretty much only uses the G Natural Minor scale (Aeolian Mode). Pay attention to the 2nd chord of the progression because that, to me, is the uplifting chord - and try coming up with a phrase that compliments the chord to sound "happy". I hope that helps!
@@RYSmusic That 100 percent helps! I've been stuck in this kind of melancholy sound with the natural minor, or slightly aggressive with the phrygian dominant stuff. Your sound is just uplifting and clean, and it gives me inspiration to head that direction. Aeolian, thank you again.
