For the record this place is not in OWO the forest is located in a village called Igbo Olodumare in Okeigbo Local government, Ondo state Nigeria (If you're going from Lagos you'll take Ore - Ondo Town from Ondo Town find your way to Okeigbo)
I'm from Okeigbo town in Ondo state, few kilometres to the mysterious forest "Igbo Olodumare" All what you said its very true and there is even more to it! Thank you so much for bringing this to show to the world at large. Kudos!
My brother, be careful when going to those places, and doing what you are not suppose to do. Until someone breaks those curses, they are still portent. Look at the case with Joshua and Jericho. He cursed Jericho and anyone who would rose up to rebuild the city. Hundreds of years later, a man rebuilt the city and the curse fell on him. You can read it in the book of Joshua. Please don't play with these things. It takes the church to remove the curse from those places.
Wow. This is beautiful and loving thanks so much for bringing this to us. You are making me to know more places in Nigeria right from my bedroom. God bless you.
I honestly think that some of these places that are so spiritual' they should be left alone ' and out of too much of the public eyes' because they are more valuable than money! Their secret should not be exposed for money' they should be otherwise be left' to be protected without much disruption' because the enemies will just be saying thank you' while they lay inwait' to destroy those treasures' please leave them alone to be.
There is a river in my village that actually disappeared and came back after 40 years. University of Nigeria Nsukka was built with the river. If is a story you feel like telling, we can make arrangements so i take you there.
God created rocks, the ocean, the river, the mountains, iron , the trees the volcano EVERYTHING on this earth is a part of God and is sacred. The reason people in Africa are burning garbage, throwing trash in the rivers polluting their natural world is because they have let go of their respect and understanding that God is EVERYTHING. It's blasphemy to pollute rivers and forests they are sacred
Here they come again! You that don't even know the "God" they gave to you. In Yorubaland, the Almighty is Olodumare, not an invented English word with no meaning.
“But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; And the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee: Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: And the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee. Who knoweth not in all these That the hand of the LORD hath wrought this? In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, And the breath of all mankind.” Job 12:7-10 KJV
Believing that “god answers prayers”, is actually no different than believing a rock can. If you examine anytime a “prayer was answered”, you will find evidence of human, or natural actions, that brought it to pass.
My mum also told me about a forest in ikare akoko. It is a smelling forest but the moment you say hummm what smelling unknown sport will start floging you.
I love your content.. How it shows different cutural beliefs in our nigeria..... But always keep in mind to be respectful to the gods and deities..even if you do not understand...bigups
The forest is located in a village called Igbo Olodumare in Okeigbo Local government, Ondo state Nigeria (If you're going from Lagos you'll take Ore - Ondo Town from Ondo Town find your way to Okeigbo) Depending on where you're going from you might need to take from Akure - Ondo Town
