With a lot of excitement I test drove the new endeavour. I was really disappointed at the lack of initial pickup, especially if there is a slight upward slope. I hope Ford comes up with a more powerful engine that does justice to the rest of the great stuff this car has to offer.
You guys are all wrong with the "more powerful engine"! If the same power was given on a 3.2L engine and a SCR, the fuel economy, pick up and emissions would all be great! Its the cubic capacity that does the job and not the horsepower! Emissions are a lie to push you to EV! The manufacturers never struck a balance between CC and HP. Earlier it was higher CC with lower HP, now its higher HP on a lower CC engine.... the right balance was almost non existent! and not all are enthusiasts or technical guys to understand the things I said above!
Sir the information and the video is excellent.. but sir everybody’s making videos on endeavour 4x4.. what about 4x2 titanium plus most of the people don’t do off road.. so please make a video on 4x2 titanium plus model 2020 👍👍👍
Sir, what will you miss from the 3.20 ltr engine vs the 2 ltr bi turbo ? Also is 2 ltr engine made to strain too much to get the output figures for power and torque? Will it have any issues on the long term life of the engine ?
Yes. This 2.0 engine already has fuel injector problems. All sales of ford vehicles equipped with this engine has been suspended in Australia because of the above mention problem. Never buy a car with a brand new engine design.
Ashish Sir Now you are lying Ford had Downgraded the endeavour By 3.2 to 2.0 and the charm of the endeavour has gone. There's no Raw power now left in endeavour as compared to previous model.
Very true.. I booked BS 6 endeavour but while driving it I didn't get any charm of power which 3.2 endeavour has.. Now going showroom to showroom to find 3.2 but not getting now.. I am going for second hand 3.2 endeavour 2019 for true fun of endeavor which I got from market
Narinder Singh sir i got a 3.2 2017 ford. As i was planning to change it for a new one as mine has done 70k kms. Would u suggest me to keep the 3.2 until the all new 2021 ford comes or should i go for the 2.0 . I haven’t driven the new one yet so confused. N m not keen on selling this car in urgency if the 2.0 is no good compared to the 3.2
hi sir great review but why are you not taking about its power compair to 3.2 and also bi turbo that they offering worldwide its disappointing tht they are not offering both higher power engines here. endy lover like you should also disappointed by that
Unless your going offroading everyday you won't notice the difference. Plus this will give better milage on those long trips and be a bit practical. No turbo lag too cause of the 10 gear box.
My EcoSport underbody was hit on October,2019. I took to a authorised workshop. They changed drive belt and told me everything is alright. Two months later engine failed. It was due to damaged coolant pipe which was missed during ok initial inspection. Now I am having to pay 3lakhs for engine overhaul, not worth it. Don't buy ford car. Their workshops are no good. Buy a Hyundai may be.
Excellent reporting but I disagree with the fact that 2.0 is as good as 3.2. There is no replacement for raw CC power and it is evident when going steep uphill fully loaded
This 2.0 engine already has fuel injector problems. All sales of ford vehicles equipped with this engine has been suspended in Australia because of the above mention problem. Never buy a car with a brand new engine design.
I still cant fathom Fords decision to discontinue the 3.2 ltr engine. 2 ltr engine with 170 bhp?? Youve gotta be kidding me. Tata Harrier, MG hector, Jeep compass all provide the same size engine with same power and better mileage. Why will anyone spend 33 lakhs and buy Endeavour, when they can get the same thing from Harrier or Gravitas??? Ford has simply surrendered before the Fortuner. Mark my words, this downgrade will ruin the Endeavor soon. I bet!!!
10 Speed Gearbox with much better Performance. Harrier not a reliable Product, whereas Endeavour is a time tested product of Ford in the US and International market. Much better Road presence.
@@amanbeniwal1576 My dear friend, at 33 lakhs on road, will any sane guy buy a 2 ltr endeavour?? At that price i can buy a Harrier as well as a huyndai hatchback. Or a Kia and a Creta, or an XUV and and altroz and umpteen no of combinations. Plus, Endeavour was a Fortuner, Pajero and Isuzu challenger. Now it can no longer hold a candle to Fortuner or Pajero..
@@amanbeniwal1576 i had driven the old 2.2 and 3.2 as well. The moment you start driving the 3.2 you will clearly realize the absolute power and difference in the engine. The old 2.2 used to lose its power around 120 kms. But the 3.2 easily could make 160 plus speeds without breaking a sweat. The 10 speed gearbox may be great for the 2 ltr engine. But pit it directly to the 3.2 Endeavor and watch the 3.2 destroy this 2 ltr engine like nothing..
@@amanbeniwal1576 I am a die hard Ford Endy fan. But now, i am completely disappointed and personally nothing can convince me to buy this puny 2 ltr joke for 33 lakhs. I will personally choose the Toyota fortuner or Innova crysta 2.8 any day over the new Endeavour
@@amanbeniwal1576 lmao . Fix or repair everyday. 2L single turbo is available only in india and australia gets 2L biturbo. Reliability of single turbo is yet to be tested. After driving my harrier for 9k km, i haven't faced a single issue. Check out our harrier club owners fb.
I really wanna meet the Genius in Ford who spearheaded this 2.0 ltr joke for Endeavour. I cant emphasize enough how much i am thoroughly disappointed with this incredibly stupid decision from Ford. Its like Rolls royce decided to discontinue their V12 engine for a V4 or V6 engine with 10 or 12 or 15 gears for better mileage.!!!!! God help you Ford.!!! I am extremely disappointed and sorry to say this again, but this is definitely going to be an inevitable death for Ford Endeavour in an year or 2. I can bet that no one in their right state of mind will ever buy the Endeavor over Fortuner. And if fortuner comes with a couple of more features like Sunroof then RIP Endeavour!!!
Arjun Prasad check the specs of 2.8 Lt Fortuner against this new Endeavour. It belts out the same specs of hp and nm at similar RPMs. Ford has raised the bar for the competition even more.
@@babcdefghij What about the displacement my friend ?? I am sure you must have heard the term, There is no replacement for displacement !!!!! Now there is a whopping 800 cc difference between Fortuner and Endeavour. And given Endeavours huge size and weight, the power and torque figures can make only a little difference on road. And its sure as hell that those minor differences cannot overcome the 800 cc shortfall between the Endeavour and Fortuner. Ford should have definitely stuck with the 3.2 Ltr engine or maybe bought a new 3 ltr or 2.8 ltr engine with the 10speed AT..
@@babcdefghij People who buy Endeavour's and Fortuners are not the kind of customers who actually care for mileage. If mileage was of paramount importance, the Fortuner and Innova crysta would never have succeeded so well in the market. Why do people buy the BMWs, Mercs and Audis with those road scorching 3 ltr engines. Its simply for the sheer thrill and power of blasting through the highways throwing all other cars behind.
Good video. Don't agree with the title. Power matters. Ford has killed the endeavour by downgrading the engine... I will rather buy the 3.2 than go for this 2 ltr. Engine. Waste of money.
454 LIKE HIIIIII ASHISH SIR WHTSUP BIG BIG BIG BIG BIGGEST FAN OF YOURS THANKS FOR YOUR VALUABLE INFORMATION KEEP IT UP NIAZ HERE FROM HYD COOL VIDEO 👍👍👍💖💖💖
I really don’t understand the logic / reason of ford not bringing that super biturbo with 210 bhp😳 Disappointed and cancelled my plan to buy the new one as to replace my 2017 model 3.2 machine which was sold last December as I was sure to get the biturbo here this year 😢 Regret the decision now 😢😢
