Good thing I didn't have anything that was critical to seed this spring because I still couldn't get in a field. Glad to hear neighbor Dave is doing well. 👍
The roller seem to do a good job, we always had a basket on the disk to put rocks in that we picked up in the field, also carried several safety cones for marking bigger rocks we wanted to come back for. Nice to get some crops in the ground.
Glad to hear you got Dave's place seeded...I've got to call him this next week and BS with him a bit....I've been wondering if you were done calving yet, got my answer to that, there's always that one that has to drag things on...We got over 3" of rain this last week, ho complaints here..... Thanks Dave.
I haven’t tried winter wheat but winter rye works great. I have eight acres growing now. The only barley variety available is spring planted but the University of Minnesota is working on a fall plant winter barley which they hope to have commercially available soon.
