I live in Germany where we go to the doctor once a month to check if everything is ok with me, the baby and the whole pregnancy. In the video you visit "Sneak a Peak" - that's not a gynecologist - right? What kind of medical care are we talking about?
I’m not sure where she went but in America we go once a month to our gynecologist (the one we want to deliver our baby) until week 28. From week 28-36 go every 2 weeks. Then from week 36-birth go every week.
Some people go to places like that to see the baby so it doesn’t feel like a medical examination. It’s just to see the baby and get pictures. They probably are going to a doctor too, but their appointment may be a later date.
thanks for answering. I‘d wish such offers are also possible in Germany. If everything‘s fine we visit once a month our gynecologist til week 36. Then til due date every 2 weeks and after that we go every 2 days to the doctor. It‘s also possible that some parts of the medical care is carried out by our midwife. That‘s great I think.
