One thing I love about this game is how instead of the monsters being over the top killing machines like a lot of horror content, they're more like folklore creatures including the strange ways of deterring them

No but imagine having a hobb or two and a stair slug? Like, you don't have to worry about pests because of the slug, and the hobbs clean everything including the slime from the slug, and all you have to do is leave a little bit of food or milk out for your house guests~

I noticed something in the game... The Fae Feast. For all of us nerds? Never touch any food a fae gives you. Never eat it. Refuse. The manual tells you to tell the homeowners to consume immediately. If we didn't get red flags at some point, there was a huge one right there. Very interesting game. Dev should be very proud for making me double check my nerd cred.

I like how it's mundane stuff mixed with the supernatural. Like, oh you have ants, and you have a demon infestation. 😅

I like that the entries don't tell people how to get rid of most fae, just appeas them. The number of entries just telling people to move and basically give the house to the fae are especially concerning. Pretty clear who's running the company, right? Mike was clearly turned into smart mouse like the "help me" recording. Cat purchased to track him down before he could spread info.

They should add the North American House Hippo to this game 😂 A commercial from years ago in Canada about a little tiny hippo that lives in people’s houses and makes their nests in piles of clothing, swims in the pets’ water bowls and leaves little tracks of peanut butter footprints haha

I don't know if it is a coincidence (probably not) but the cat from 43:52 is named Whiskers, the same name as Wanda's cat from the previous day that has the problem with the walls peeling

As soon as the squeak translated to "Help me", my brain immediately went to the previous employee in the hole in the wall. They are probably sending messages when you are out of the office. Sad, Patrice's son turned into the Sprig Tree; thats why there were strips of cloth all over the tree (his clothes). I'm guessing the former employee did not do too well and instead of being promoted, they were descended. Very fun game ❤

Ohhhh!! The $12,000 house is covered in the vines! And random emailer that asks you to quit is a smart mouse!! Hence the cat found him and the typing is odd! I love that!

I love the sneaky clues throughout this game that I completely missed until reading the comments after watching. So, so many hints about where the smart mice come from that went totally over my head! Also there’s the fact that the solution to basically every fae creature was either or “We’ll deal with it” or “Leave, this is their house now.”

I kinda love that on the very few normal, mundane pests the entry is more likely to be incorrect. Stink bugs instead of bed bugs, rats instead of mice, or saying bees need to be put to sleep. It reinforces that this company isn't really interested in helping with non-supernatural pests lol. I love how casual the use of supernatural in this. It makes me really curious about this world. Is the company actually just performing a service or is this how their species reproduces in the modern age when most humans don't believe in them? Are they're looking for individuals with a certain level intelligence, diligence, or intuition? Why turn rejected subjects into mice rather than just kill them or wipe their memory? I hope the devs make more games in this universe.

I hate that I noticed the figure in the computers screen. Because every time we see the desktop, it gets closer and Gab didn't seem to notice it. Not upset or anything, took me a bit to realize it was there, but when I went back to see if it was *always* there, only to see it wasn't. I felt chills. It gave an odd feeling of dread. Constantly thinking, "Gab, please. Something is getting closer on the desktop. Notice it, please" idk, just a feeling that was so intense.

Oh my! This might be the first time I’ve seen a game with disabling a phobia-triggering imagery option. How much I’d have LOVED that in Sekiro but I guess it’d only work for a game like this one here.

This game is so cool. All the little hints scattered everywhere - the cat Whiskers coming back, that one vine-covered house being only $12k because it was infested with a Sprig Vine, the smart mice employees, etc.

This game was so fun. And the developer and his wife both seem cool. I hope they find a lot of success with this game (especially considering what I’ve heard about the chaos of Evermore Park, they deserve a reward for all that creativity).

Would be so sick as one part of a larger game where someone has to correctly guess what the issue is before another player actually has to go deal with it, so the consequences of getting it wrong could potentially be more immediately severe. As someone who has drawn a number of rats and finds it very important to discern the two. Can confirm that the picture 4:47 is a rat and NOT a mouse. Mice have small circular ears and typically a shorter face. ✌❤🐀

…… that bed bug image (2:33) is VERY clearly a stinkbug but in terms of annoyance that might be accurate- (44:00) whis- they took the cat. they took her cat that’s Wanda’s cat- Robert is so funny. He had a Hobb, ignored it, it metamorphosized, he FIXED it, and now it’s a Hobb and annoying him again, I love this- This was SO COOL I only wish there were more callers- so much work and love went into this, it’s awesome!

Neuroscientist here. Mouse brains are definitely bigger than a peanut (not by much, but they are bigger) - at least, they're bigger than shelled peanuts. They're about the size of a (read: my) thumbnail for anyone wondering, or maybe the size of two peanuts. Mice are absolutely wonderful creatures and newer research is showing they may even have the ability for metacognition!

I absolutely LOVE how basically everything is fae related! So many of the creatures, the missing children, The Feast, the riddles, the whole "descend underground"-thing.. 10 out of 10, amazing game! So cool!

I was hoping you'd play this! Seems right up your ally with Fae and lore you had to keep in mind. Hope to get more games from the dev, they've made fun stuff before but this is a proper step up.

As someone whose family has spent over a year living with a cockroach infestation thanks to the monumental filthy carelessness of the person who lived in this house before us, every time someone playing this immediately goes for black mold on that first call because they don't read beyond that one and equate dark specks with the mold, it makes me cringe so hard I turn into Gilbert Gottfried, complete with shouting "You fool! YOU FOOL!"

So I really loved that trail and cave the dev put into the video. He called it Thunder Ridge, but that place doesn't exist lol So I did some digging... After seeing the end, and discovering that the dev worked at a park called Evermore Park, I looked it up. That park is in Utah, so I did a search for Mountain Cave Hikes in Utah, and BAM ! The place this scene was filmed is called Timpanogos Cave Utah I really want to go one day 🙏

this really reminded me of the spiderwick series of books and movies but only because of the monster well entity entrys, i love that it was made with such creativity and love for fantasy as well as urban legends myths and other. that was really awesome got hooked imedeatly so scarry but also neat little creatures i wish i had in my home

I love seeing phobia/trigger options in horror games. I love being scared but spiders trigger not only my fear but my nausea lol. The dyslexic font option as well is an awesome thing to include in any text based game
