This pastor makes me so hungry for God's Word...I mean I just want to read, and study.

I’m 71, so I was raised back in the day when simplistic was starting to becoming obsolete. We lived way back in the county miles from sidewalks. We played with stick, made up our own games. Our older brothers would drag in old parts from a tractor repair shop scrap pile out back along with lumber from scrap shipping crates. They made us a train engine go cart. It even had smoke coming from the stack. They would also gather up old salvage bicycle parts and rebuild them into a woking bicycle. Pop also took green cane, carved whistles and pop guns to play with. There’s lots more they did for all us kids in the neighborhood that enjoyed playing with. I loved the outdoors my who life.😮

I think when he mentioned the Genie. That pastor was referring to Mark 11:24. But this hit home for me. Im glad i listen to it. God has always been my second choice until I had no where to turn to. I realize that he is will ALWAYS be in the forefront. I have to pray and seek his wisdom before everything and i have no choice to trust in him. My anxiety is healed in his name according to his will. AMEN

I used to be on some of those meds, and they might make things better for a short time but it doesn't last....I haven't been on any for years, God alone can fix it

Most people I've encountered, as well as my own experience, is not a problem of confusing anxiety always with sin, but acknowledging most of my anxiety is sin. We tend to excuse or justify our worldly worries. My ongoing problem is not trusting God fully at all times, and being anxious for the things of God. Thank you Voddie for the reminder and pointing to Christ and his sufficiency.

I used to have the nickname of , Mr. Happy go lucky , my mother would marvel at how nothing seemed to bother me , she would say things would roll off my back like water off a ducks back , Now that I'm older I still have the same disposition (for the most part) , I've been married for 30 years , have 3 children and 4 grandkids , so I do have some anxiety , mostly about how my kids and grandkids will turn out . My wife , however gets Angry , even pissed off at me when I don't express my worry or anxiety whenever she is worried or anxious , that somehow I don't love her as much as I used to or that maybe we're not connected anymore .

Father God please forgive me for not praying about my family's situation. Instead I complained n that's not right. I love my Lord and saviour and my Father in heaven. Please heal my body I have a bad spinal headache from spinal stenosis in Jesus' holy and mighty name I pray amen 🙏 ❤️‍🔥 thank you Lord for another day 🙏 ❤️‍🔥

Ive been saved for over 20 years and despite that... I drank as an alcoholic for 20+ years. I abused drugs for 20+ as well. Now I'm sober. And I have pain in my body that may never be healed. I have severe anxiety about it. But really, I should be thankful I'm still alive.

Dear Voddie, I love you dearly and can’t get enough of your sound expository preaching. Regarding wives being anxious or whoever for that matter, we need to get alongside that person and build them, up, empathise, help them get their focus back on Jesus and the gospel, His atoning sacrifice….. Some men, some husbands are not very good at that. Any anxiety however seemingly trivial to others, is real to the sufferer. We need to be reminded of these truths.

Voddie, Teach us about the joy of getting the things we've wanted, and the excitement of going shopping for our blessings. Is excitement the reward of anxiety? Love love love your teaching!

Jesus warned us in Luke 21: 37(?) Do not be overcome by the “cares of this world”. He said, “My Peace is not the peace of THIS World…” Jesus teaches us to be “self-controlled” in 2 Timothy 1:7, “you have not been given the Spirit of FEAR, but of love, of power, and of self-discipline, (which IS a sound-mind).

Praise God for his obedient servant, that preach, and teach the word of God without any compromising. Standing steadfast on God’s word without hesitation. To God be the glory. When I was an unconverted confessing Christian I was Vegan and believed animals were as valuable as us because they were part of creation. I would absolutely have found the statement that we are more valuable than birds to be offensive.

Amen.. Jesus is Lord!!

Anxiety is Emotional Energy, which comes from the “Amygdala”, or the Heart. The man, who is usually, and normally, “governed” by his mind, (logic/reasoning/truth coming from the pre-frontal cortex), tries to “fix the problem”, with his “logic”, but he is speaking “truth” from the pre-frontal cortex TO THE ISSUE COMING FROM THE HEART, or “amygdala”. This is why the Word of God says to men, “love your wives”, and to wives, “respect your husband”.

Something I just have to add here. 2 dollars a day sounds incredibly meager to us. But cost of living differences make it not nearly as bad in those places as it sounds. They arent eating ramen noodles and sleeping in cardboard boxes, by and large.

What’s with all the background noise?

The sun is dire. It makes some people feel dread. They are the fallen ones. ( 〃▽〃)

So, what if you don't have anxiety but you have high blood pressure? Should you not take medicine? I'm just a little confused as to where the safe line in the sand should be drawn. The Lord has blessed me with need for not, but I still have panic attacks. I look at them as a thorn in my side (kind of thinking about Paul having some physical thing he had to deal with), praise the Lord that I live in a time where I can get some help. Maybe I'm being diluted here, but I do Love My Savior, and if Our Father in Heaven hadn't put Christ in me I would not love him or have a passion for Our Father. No disrespect here at all. I'm just a little confused :)

But, ONE MORE THING…Adam SHOULD have “been there” to bring the Truth to Eve’s Situation. This is why, the Apostle Paul said that only Men (logical/reasoning/truth-led) should teach the congregation, and “emotionally-led” women should “be quiet” in the gathering. And we know that God gives MEN, the responsibility to LEAD, for this reason. THEIR NECKS ARE ON THE LINE. With a television you don't have to be supernatural. God prefer that because it's more social but we have to use it correctly. Right now we have anarchy blindness. Despite the anarchy blindness I figured it out. That proves we can be God like. Only a person getting crucified would suspect something greater. I'm sorry but the passage is nineteen to thirty five because verse 25 starts with therefore. Jesus is not pitting the people he is teaching them not to be like a heathen or worldly.

But study all church teachings you can learn so much I was raised Baptist but GOD gave me a thirst for truth and I have learned churches don't teach GODS feasts and Sabbaths instead they teach pagan myths. Before you celebrate any holiday research what it is about remember holiday means Holy Day so beware what you call HOLY.

It’s so sad that all these pastors are the same and stick with the same concept to cater to religious Christians. Jesus taught one message the “Kingdom” and these pastors preach every thing else but it. This is why I love only Dr Myles Monroe. I teach only the kingdom and I understand why God told us to only see it and nothing else. Yes this guy is very well trained in knowledge but still lack the obedience to teach the Kingdom. Jesus said when you go preach this message the kingdom not these messages.
