Man, been looking forward to this. As always, this was an amazing episode. The sound/visual effects, music, and dialogue made it feel like I was watching a G1 episode. And it was great seeing the chemistry between Zarak and Krunk. You could really tell they go way back. The brief mentions to names and places make the universe feel so much more expansive. Also, really cool to see Onslaught, known military strategist, get so giddy meeting Krunk. Helped establish Krunk further, and show the callousness of the Combaticons and Shockwave's faction as a whole. Can't wait for the next episode. The mysterious Matrix emblazoned monument has got me very curious. P.S. Love the planet's name reference.
Thanks for laying out all your thoughts Auvidence.. I've decided to pin your lovely and well thought out comment. It was my hope to expand the universe a little and settle Krunk in as relatable / likable character as quick as possible, so that when we get to the end of the episode the audience hopefully care that he is badly injured. I think you might be the first person to mention the Matrix too, so props to you.. more on that next time (but that's just between you and I). Thanks again for enjoying the show, see you on 01/01/2022 for Part 2.
These are by far the best versions of these character's voices since the g1 cartoon. I have heard many people try and imitate G1 Starscream's voice but this.....this IS Starscream. You've captured the essence of the character which so many have tried and failed to do over the decades. Shockwave is on point.,....Zarak IS Zarak to me. I love this series.
So far really impressed with this. The voice actor for Krunk sounds just like René Auberjenois as Odo from DS9, and I love it. Still watching but had to say it
Hello again Raz, thanks for the kind words and I'm really glad you enjoyed. I'm really pleased with the voice actors too so I'm glad you mentioned them.
Scorponok and Snapdragon were two of my first childhood Decepticons. Love seeing them get the spotlight. It's no good, I haven't got the words to adequately express how perfect this episode is. "You did an amazing job, lad. Amazing!!"
I'm very happy that the strange characters I've picked just happen to have played a big role in your childhood. I didn't have either of them as a kid but a friend of mine did and I always thought they were impressive toys.
@@ultra_marcus Thank you for sharing your talents with us. I grew up on the Marvel UK comic and was disappointed Snapdragon wasn't as prominent as Apeface so it's great to see you put him in the spotlight. Your videos have raised the bar for Transformers stop motion. The voice acting, the writing, the set designs AND you're animating G1 toys, whose lack of articulation is largely bemoaned by the fandom, yet you instill them with life better than Primus himself could. I don't know how familiar you are with the UK comic but I'd love to see you animate a scene from them or a comic dub with your talented collaborator Steve P83. I love his Soundwave voice and his performance as Starscream in this video is fantastic. Sorry for harping on. Just love seeing your videos. Thank you for taking time to respond to me. As someone once said, you're a gentleman, a scholar and a good judge of bad whiskey.
The discovery of the dead robot was so (chef's kiss). Took me back to many darker moments from the g1 comics. This series is amazing. Keep up the great work!
Stevie P*3's voice tallents are incredable ... outside of sounding just like the late Rene' Auberjenots, he does a really good Chris Latte Starscream. Honestly, he should submit his voice services to Paramount, given that they are doing both Star Trek and Transformers. They would be a fool not to see such talent.
Extraordinary! Absolutely Extraordinary, Ultra Marcus! Lord zarak reunited his old friend Krunk and discovered something ancient artifact! Can’t wait to see part 2 next year!
Ultra Marcus, I just wanted to congratulate you on the continuation of your masterpiece of a series. The entire production is of the highest quality. The story itself, the story-telling, the fleshed-out characters, the voice acting, the animation, sets, scenes, graphics, sound and so on are so well done and planned. My sons and I are thoroughly enjoying your show. You do the original g1 its due justice. There are many fans of transformers, but it seems to be so elusive to be able to retain the charm and appeal of the original, yet in my opinion you have accomplished that. We are eagerly awaiting 1.1.22. Take care and best wishes! The Triplechangers
Hello the Tripple Changers. Thanks for the really kind words.. it's always nice to hear that someone watches this thing with their kids, it doesn't happen too often but it's always quite a special thing to hear. see yu on Jan 1st :) UM
@@ultra_marcus Ultra Marcus, Thank you for your response. The cool thing with RU-vid is that the audience can reach out directly to the creators. It’s kind of crazy but awesome! I remember back when I first discovered your channel I was instantly drawn to the sets and the lighting of your videos. You have a neat sense of art and we really love the way you repurposed old circuit boards. It reminds me so much of my brother and I growing up in the 80’s. We would make our own spaceships and scenes with cardboard boxes, tin foil, lights and switches from Radio Shack… a lot of fond memories flood back!! Watching your videos is kind of reliving the past but through someone else’s perspective. We’ve been watching stop motion videos for the last couple of years. We actually have made a few of our own just for fun. Maybe we’ll be able to take some inspiration from you and explore our own creativity. Best regards, - Triplechanger Dad
Awesomeness, +UltraMarcus! I love that Krunk "beams in" and is spot on for the voice as Odo from Deep Space Nine of Star Trek. StevieP83 did an amazing job, as well as yourself and all the voice actors in this Production. I can't wait to see what happens next! I suspect Thrust and Dirge may run into some... *ahem* trouble, you might say? Keep up the good work, brother! 👊😁🍻
Hey Raptors, It turns out one of Stevie's VFX specialities is 'beaming', and it looks great. Yes you're right, there's more than a hint of Odo about Krunk LOL>
Krunk's voice sounded like Odo, the chief security officer from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Blast Off can transform into a space shuttle similar to Astrotrain, but thanks to mass shifting ability, he's big enough to carry four Combaticon team members.
Another fantastic episode! So well made as always and is just so believable as a transformer story line. This far outclasses anything Hadbro have produced recently inc. WFC. Keep it up Marcus!
The production value on this is amazing! Also the starscream voice is extremely well done, it actually sounds more like Chris Latta’s original voice for the character than most of the official voices the character has had since, this is a channel I’ll definitely be checking out more
Once again a masterpiece. I enjoyed the slower pace after the Last few Action packed Episodes. Hope WE See krunk again i really enjoyed watching him. Also Starscream finally Made His grand debut
I was a little worried about the pacing Basti, in fact In the days before posting I was asking my self "Oh dear, have a I made my Phantom Menace", but I'm glad it worked for you. THanks for watching as always, and thanks for your continued support.
This is making me feel all giddy and smirking with pleasure. Your original music building suspense during the interrogation was great too. Hilarious and nostalgic stuff. Time to subsribe.
That was Seriously one of the coolest things I've ever watched!!! The Music and Voice performances were Top tier!!! Seriously one of the best fan animations I've ever seen!!! I've always wanted to animate something to that extent, I can defiantly feel the love and passion you put into it. I hope to See more in the future.
I've been watching this series since the beginning and very good before but now you can notice the finish product. Keep up the great work and thanks for leaving me in suspense LOL
If you didnt have the credits i swear you could easy pass up some of the voices like starscream and thundercracker as the real actors from G1 their so good
I still get strangers coming up to me in the street asking me who was the cool guy who played Huffer in my last video. Thanks P-Nut, see on Jan 1st for Part 2.
Somehow this missed my notice, but I just binge watched this entire series, Sooooo awesome! The voice acting is some of the best I've ever heard, some of these voices are hard to believe , they are so spot on! I'm still floored that you are using G1 figs and making them look spectacular with all the VFX, green screen work, and camera angles...BRAVO!
Thanks for the Binge-Watch Datalynx, I'm glad you've been enjoying the show and appreciating them ol' camera angles :) Also, shout out to my voice actors, they really do help these G1's come to life.
That was amazing! Absolutely loved every minute of it! The animations are better than ever and sets just look superb! Can't wait to find out what happens next! 😄👏
That was amazing as always! The animation, the story, the accessories and the special effects, there's so much work put into it and it shows! I can't wait for part 2!
@@ultra_marcus got him for Christmas of 2022. Feels like a hallucination sometimes when I see them. I sometimes feel like I shouldn’t have this thing. It’s such an amazing figure.
Well done, "literally for Zarak!" Fantastic story and special effects! Looking for to your next episode in January! P.S. really liked the burt/scorched appearance on the ships and other props!
It's true I wrecked a Snapdragon but it was all ready very beaten up when I bought it cheaply on e-bay LOL. I only used 2 Skystalkers in this video and I only had one set of accessories. One Skystalker is from my childhood (with all accessories lost) The other I got complete from eBay, specifically for this video. Oh I forgot, I also wrecked some Gobots and put them in water filled 'tubes' in the last episode, but they don't count.
