Seeking Fall Colors | October is my favorite month | Santa Fe New Mexico 

It is October in New Mexico which means that Mother Nature is changing the trees and plants to the colors I love most...Its time for apple cider, hot soups and stews, and pumpkin everything. Time for jeans and flannel shirts and warm cozy sweaters. Fall is my favorite season!
Today we drove up the road to Santa Fe Ski Basin and stopped at the Aspen Vista trailhead for a short hike. There were hundreds of people there, but most never leave the parking area. This is a nice hike to see the aspens and enjoy the changing season.
