Yes indeed, put out the less successful videos too, but I would not include this as one of them! Shrike, chough, red grouse, woodlark and ferruginous duck, brilliant birds. Pity about the fog after such a long drive though. Over half way through your target in under two months, brilliant! I hope the mechanic is on the mend as is your van!
Interesting video witha nice mix of birds. Great Grey Shrike remains a bogey/nemesis bird for me, I've even seen the rarer Brown and Woodchat Shrikes but not Great Grey, despite looking a few times!
Well done on getting the Shrike at the first attempt, I've tried for it twice and dipped. Are you using any other social platforms as if you put on any plans on where you're going, you may get some more info on other birds in the area. There's a raptor watch point 10 mins drive from Budby that has Goshawk. Also mentioned in another comment, there's Lesser pecker nearby too.
