Seeking unhealthy validation & how God set me free 

God is faithful , that thing your waiting for him to do, he’s gonna do it .

This is SO timely. I was just considering this in my morning devotions. This is the season where God is causing me to see that nothing else will ever satisfy me but Him and I have to press into Him and see why He is and will always be my Source.

God’s timing is amazing! I recently fell in to sin again, specifically lust and it’s something to really work on and just commit my thoughts and all to God because I can’t do it by my strength alone. One of the main triggers for this was my need for validation. Going through your teens and seeing everybody else start dating and receiving romantic attention and not getting any of that really impacted me. It made me question what I was lacking that everyone else seemed to have. That lead to my fixation on maladaptive daydreaming and seeking validation from others, specifically guys which all ultimately lead to lust. I pray for anyone else dealing with this and just wanted to say thank you for discussing this issue more! God bless❤️

Today I literally had to thank God for sending you in my life. I have followed you from the beginning. Even got my first brand new apartment following you because of your apartment journey. Now I’m in the process of receiving Gods love and seeing myself how he sees me. You truly have been such a big help in my life. I thank God so much for you deb. Love you much !

I deal with daydreaming and fantasizing. I am trying so hard to get delivered from it. Do you have any advice or can you link your video about it please?

This is coming soo timely!! Just talked to God about this. Does anybody have some advice, what I should do in moments when I feel like I need validation or when I am disappointed by people? Sometimes when I read these bible verses I believe them, but it is like my heart still doesn‘t receive it…
