Pretty sure Seeconk pays out a grand to the winner. Just what I heard.

I've noticed the 2nd and 3rd gen F-bodies always do very well on the oval! While most Mustangs do not for whatever reason, exception is some who have wider track wheels/tires seem to do rather well for themselves. Civics almost always suck (I am a Honda fan, too), most FWD cars suck here except for Neons I've noticed. Low-profile sidewall tires seem to lose grip before thicker sidewall tires do. Being a short banked oval track, gearing & power band play a very huge role in how well each car gets to the apex of turn 1 first (which is the most important part I've noticed) and how well you can launch out of it to take advantage of the straight.

Camaros even when slow always did pretty good on the skid pad....Mustangs...well...yeah the back end liked to come around quite a bit... That being said, obviously hard to beat the AWDs.....really need two different classes. lol....love this racing wish we had it around here(or if we do I am glad I dont know about it...lol..."gee honey...I dont know WHAT happened to the car"....lol)

Idk man. donuts are pretty fun. there's no downside I see to warming up the rears. if anything, it helps with with oversteer, a problem a lot of these guys seem to be having even when they warm up the tires. warm tires are necessary for a decent launch. it's vital in these races. getting out front first and hugging the inside lane looks like the winning recipe here.

May be heavy as fuck but it is all wheel drive and all wheel steering so its pretty good at it as long as its not a really high speed corner.

Look at the old consumer reports editorials. VR4s were always well rounded.

Yea, the VR-4 is a twin turbo v6 with awd. Some models even come with aws (all wheel steer). They're a badass car for sure!! Very hard to replace parts I've heard.

+polok890 Yeah their pretty good stock (320-340HP depending on exact year/model) But that one was definitely not stock. He had an easy time with most the rounds/matches he was in. DSM could have won that last one had he not given the VR4 the inside lane on lap one. The DSM was nowhere close to stock either.
