Fun thing to note. At the end of the dance, Black Swan has gone completely limp. Meaning that, even though she survived, and seemingly got away from Acheron's mind, the only reason that she hasn't collapsed is because Acheron STILL has a grip on her. So even though Black Swan gave absolutely everything that she had, just to get away from Acheron and survive, she actually failed. Since Acheron still hunted her down and caught her, even out of the mind scape. Which only makes Black Swan's terror at the end even more valid, since a character that was introduced to seem almost untouchable, literally couldn't even get away from Acheron, without Acheron just letting her

Acheron made sure to send a message that Black Swan wasn't in control. Really made Black Swan scared as hell after F***ing around and finding out.

Black Swan is a memokeeper, so memories are essentially her source of power. She can collect memories, traverse between them, change her form inside them, make divinations based on them, etc. In a memoria, she is god. The current theory is that Acheron is a self-annihilator, which means her memories are essentially non-existent. Black Swan is powerless in Acheron's mind because there are no memories to hold on to or siphon power from. It's just an abyss of the dead run by a hunter with an instinct to kill, which harms Black Swan. Note that Black Swan is formidable herself, hence, she has the confidence to enter anyone's memories without harm and is equipped with contingencies (e.g., making Sampo and Sparkle forget their encounter). Acheron was unfortunately BS's weakness.

Animating dancing is incredibly hard. The act of dancing is quite complex in terms of movement and especially in the trailer’s tango style. Animators cooked with this one.

To answer your question about where the battle/dance takes place, during the story there's actually a part where Black Swan comes to the group and says the she was at a ball and met someone and had a dance with. The dance is BS way of initiating her ritual to read Acheron's memory, but Acheron ripped her apart since she is an eminator of nihility and BS couldn't handle it.

What happens when someone devoted to Rememberance runs into someone who embraces Nihility? (which is the polar opposite of Remembrance) Black Swan (who chose her looks based around her mothers memories) gets metaphysically assaulted (which by the way, since she is a metaphysical being actual happens physically to her) and legit ALMOST dies because as a Remembrance devoted person, gazing into Nihility is a straight up DEATHSENTENCE, mean this was quite literally, a near death experience for Black Swan.

Sam getting Allegra and Arryn mixed up is totally understandable, both their voices are amazing and very alluring! That being said, I hope you all have a chance to meet Arryn at some point, maybe at a convention or something in the future!

It's also really something, the way inner Acheron easily picks up Black Swan and literally *SLAMS* her onto the floor, splattering her into birds. Like she's nothing more than a helpless porcelain doll. It's all Black Swan can do to just barely keep herself together. She can't even actually defend herself. She's just trying to survive the encounter and, for probably the first time in a long time, she actually struggled to do even that.

For a memokeeper like black swan, viewing Acheron's memories would definitely be one of the scariest things she's ever done, this animated segment shows black swan's fear very well.

Since Acheron basically gave away her memory's in this pact with IX and Black Swan tried to take a look at what is not Acheron's anymore, it's somewhat understandable what exactly happened in that last part of the trailer. Black Swan's main desire was to witness Memories. Unfortunately, Acheron's memories are filled with such suffering and is basically submerged in Nihility's Abyss that merely seeing her memories gave Swan so much anguish that it basically felt like being torn apart by a Black Hole/IX. So everything with the red background is all from Swan's POV and Acheron has done nothing but dance with a Beautiful Lady
