As a “Self Proclaimed” Seer Main. I can see that A LOT of people forget that his ult doesn’t reveal you constantly… if you crouch you defeat him… and if you play Rev and Crouch you’re pretty much a great counter to Seer.
Totally agree, his kit is really good even after the slight nerfs. I think people stopped playing him was because of the 10 damage that the tac used to do and that it could easily be spammed. He does require skill and works really with a bloodhound tac and ult.
I started playing him since yesterday and he is my favorite now! The disruption to healing and rez is insane especially if you have coms with teammates to call out when enemies are healing up.
When he was OP me and a buddy went "black in action" one day and won 3 in row and 7 of 10 in duos. He was seer and I was lifeline. His tac for 10 damage and stopping heals was crazy.
I hate that I didn’t get a chance to play him before the nerf. I was in school, so this nerfed version to me just isn’t enough for me to pick over bloodhound
Bloodhounds abilities take less thought and are much more convenient. Almost never miss a scan and its reach is insane, seers tac can easily be dodged and his ult can be destroyed. Hounder doesnt have these problems. Seer much more of a technician
I'm a seer main and I love him so much but it's dangerous when you play with him too much because with another legend you're lost, you don't know where are ennemies 😅
I have the same problem but with loba im used to just popping my ult and getting ammo and whatever else I need quickly, but whenever i play another legend I'm always running out of something.
agreed. I mainly only played rampart and recently decided to pick up seer after they buff his tacitcal to make it feel less trash to use. His kit is too good that it messes with my game senses sometimes lol
My problem with seer is his passive tunnel visions me sometimes whereas bloodhounds is more environmental so you can be more aware of enemy numbers. His tactical and ultimate also makes me chase and get shredded too.
Seer is definitely very very good. Nobody plays seer because of the simple fact that his kit requires patience, and most people don't have patience in this game
@@K1NG_of_ReVeNGe1 true, people love to play op characters, but the real 3 reasons why nobody plays him is because he's too hard to pick up for the new players, too linear for the specialists, and not good enough for the pros.
@@darthravager I think the actual reason is Bloodhound does the same, but easier. Seer is the ultimate Information-gatherer. Unmatched, Bloodhound stands no chance. But you really don't *need* all that info. Just a quick Bloodhound scan mid-fight and their speedboost Ult already are more than enough. Seer is kinda overkill, but super fun because of that. Even though he isn't "OP" anymore.
Seer's weakness is how much more skill his kit requires to do what Bloodhound does for basically free. Seer's tactical may have a longer range, but it's a tunnel and won't reveal third parties while Bloodhound just has to look in remotely the right direction to reveal everything. Seer's ultimate reveals targets longer than Bloodhound, but it's limited to an immobile area while Bloodhound can use his ult, get a self buff AND scan a large effective area. It's not that his kit is bad, it's just not built for competitive as of right now. In a fast pace competitive game, Bloodhound presses Q to do what Seer needs more time to set up for.
ITemp and Janks are the most wholesome duo on Apex. Both can recognize skilled opponents and give them props instead of calling every decent opponent a cheater. 0 toxicity. Nothing but good vibes all the way around. But Rich,my man, there is no R in Eva 8.
I loveee seer got over 1000+ kills with him, I don’t understand how people think his nerf was bad… It sucks that he was nerfed but he’s still really good
The main difference between a seer and a bloodhound is that bloodhound can scan everybody around him instantly, and shows up clearly on every teammates map. Whereas if you don’t have coms, the seer passive isn’t as effective for letting people know where someone is. His tactical also requires you to first lose some mobility, find the target while practically standing still,, then launch the scan with enough warning that an enemy can even dodge it sometimes. I find myself sometimes having to focus too heavily as a seer, and being a seer that scans. Bloodhound is just much easier. Granted,, seer can be so much more fun than a bloodhound when you pair it with his últ. I also appreciate how much skill it feels to be a good seer. I won a game with him yesterday and his scans are so useful when everything aligns right
At some point Janks just needs to get that he is good and the character is kinda irrelevant. It’s not the character, it’s not the sight, or the gun, it’s just Janks being Janks. Janks = great shooting, unreal game sense, and fun vibes
I've been solo queueing to Diamond since S8 and use legends as per the situation. But when Seer came out, I actually main him once I reach Plat going to Diamond. 😅 The extra info and security he provides are priceless.😅 Maybe I should main him for S12?😂
One big reason I always pick bloodhound over Seer is the width of the tactical ability. You can scan a building with seer's ability and get 1 or 2 people out of a 3 man team but with the Dog's tactical, he scans the whole building and more
Mained Blood for a season. I’m actually having a hard time using Bloods ult. Don’t know why, but I don’t like it. Started playing Seer a couple of weeks ago and I love it.
Love watching your vids Jankz. You always motivate me to keep playing regardless of how bad I do. Seer is heavily slept on and with the 30 woo boy it's a good time. One change I hope is made to rampage is how much it spawns. It is everywhere like the mastiff/shotgun meta in season 5. I don't think there's much more they can do to rampage other than make it harder to find. Especially with there being like a million heavy weapons on drop now.
You covered pro play in your intro saying so many teams run blood instead but throughout playoffs in all regions there was bairly any teams running blood
FYI Moose A different SEAL team would likely be used for that type of operation. Suburban vs Amphibious assault etc. But thanks for mentioning that the Navy is number 1 plus we have Naval Aviators whom are superior to the Chair Force, Army and our fellow Jarheads.
The problem with seer passive is that you move very slow and his tac is a tunnel it is easy to dodge i think that is why players don't pick him that much
It's funny how, back in the days, everyone said "goodbye Bloodhound" for Seer released OP as hell... Glad that the Hound survived tho, it's my fave and i was a little disappointed to see him being snobbed out.

I think it’s more just because he’s a forbidden character. It’s basically disrespectful to play him because his kit is so annoying. It’s similar to Cheeto finger kids using the rampage and charge rifle, they’re not bad weapons by any means but they’re just annoying to play against and require no skill to use

Does jankz use a strike pack? I used one when I was on PS4 before I had an Xbox and switched to the elite controller. The strike pack is legitimately cheating I all I did was change the recoil control and every gun hit like a laser.
Hey jankz who should I buy as my first legend? I’m not new to this game I have been playing since release but I play pc now switching from ps4 so I had to make a fresh account. I already have wattson and I forgot her name she is the one with the rockets what shoot out from her and she like fly’s lol. I was considering getting octane for my first but what do you recommend? I just dont think seer will ever be better than bloodhound, dont get me wrong seer is still good. But when you have someone like bloodhound, you dont have to be accurate with his scans and when you crouch in seers ultimate he is useless. Something as simple as crouching can defeat seer. I just dont see the point in playing him
I think seer is underrated he is actually fun to use cause people forget you can see them I'm not that great of a player but I got 6 kills pretty quick with him lol I know that doesn't sound like a lot to you but yea haha
It is so easy to use his passive and ult, it looks like a hack that people tends to not use the character, because they want some challenges instead of see through everything and kill everybody..
rather than comparing him to bloodhound, i think seer feels much more like a close-ranged version of crypto, and i absolutely adore crypto so i like playing seer sometimes
they just need to let seer run again with his tactical again and his pick rate will be back up. Cus thats what pulled the nail in the coffin with seer. Like know he's no different then crypto now like u gotta got the slowest walk when u try to use his tactical especially out in a open field
I think is instead of a tunnel it should be a wall that goes in one direction. So theirs a choice, a 360 scan that doesn’t last long but give you a idea or a aim scan that give a slight more information
