jazakAllah khair. I watch one episode of this series with my kids everyday. Alhamdulilah my kids are enjoying a lot plus having thorough understanding of Seerah. MashAllah, its so beautifully presented. My kids really like his style of narration.I find playing these videos far more effective than reading seerah to them myself.

Salaam Alaikum, it seems that the speaker has read many books and giving speech well prepared. And we the audience don't have to read that many books. but just listening to the above lectures, we gain lot of ancient books knowledge. i like the speaker's way of explanation and good and simple English explanation. i am using this material for my daawah work and it is very useful for me,because these lectures gives me many secrete details, about history of islam and it clears many doubts in the religion . i think that all the above lectures will be used by many muslim till qayaamat and the skeaker will be earning lot or continuous hasanaat good deeds, even after death ...in-shaa-Allah .GOOD WORK FOR THE WELFARE OF MUSLIM UMMAT...regards computer engineer from Kuwait

Regarding Hassan Ibn Thabet my brothers and sisters remember the verse from the Quran (49:11 & 49:12) 'O you who have believed, let not a people ridicule [another] people; perhaps they may be better than them; nor let women ridicule [other] women; perhaps they may be better than them. And do not insult one another and do not call each other by [offensive] nicknames. Wretched is the name of disobedience after [one's] faith. And whoever does not repent - then it is those who are the wrongdoers.' (49:11) O you who have believed, avoid much [negative] assumption. Indeed, some assumption is sin. And do not spy or backbite each other. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his brother when dead? You would detest it. And fear Allah ; indeed, Allah is Accepting of repentance and Merciful. (49:12)

Hasan ibn Thabit displays a different kind of courage because it also takes courage to raise one's voice against the enemy and defend Rasulallah, salla allahu 'alaihi wassalam. His propensity was for poetry and it makes sense that he was squeamish about the bloody side of battle. Probably would actually have been a liability if he couldn't wield or weapon or operate on the battlefield.

Episode 57 - 60 Notes: Part 1 The Battle of Khandaq/Ahzab This battle took place in 5 AH and it is known as the Battle of Khandaq (Trench) or sometimes as the Battle of Ahzab (Confederates). This battle was instigated by the Banu Nadir who had been exiled from Medina and had gone to Khaybar. The Banu Nadir chieftains went with a delegation to the Quraysh and made an agreement with Abu Sufyan, to work together and attack Medina. Abu Sufyan welcomed this deal because he wanted to reopen the trade route to Syria and the Banu Nadir wanted their Medinan land back. To further this goal, the Quraysh pleaded for resources from smaller Arab tribes and the Banu Nadir paid the Banu Ghatafan to attack Medina from the north. The Prophet SAW received intelligence of this and called Shura within the Masjid in order to relay this information to the Muslims. The Prophet SAW asked the Muslims for their views and this was when Salman Al Farsi RA recommended that, they employ the tactic of building a trench which the Prophet SAW accepted. Around 3000 Muslims participated in this battle. Furthermore, it was at this point that, the Prophet SAW commanded that, the women and children be taken to the fortress of the Muslims. - The Building of the Khandaq The Prophet SAW actually demarcated where the Sahabah RA should make the trench. The Prophet SAW, joined the Sahabah RA whilst they manually built the trench and they would recite poetry whilst working. Almost all of the men in Medina at the time, which means 2000-2500 were involved in the digging of the trench and they competed it within 6-14 days. During the building of the trench, there was a miracle which occurred, where the Prophet SAW actually fed the entire 1000+ trench diggers to their full, from a pot of food that should only have fed 5 people. Prior to the battle, the Banu Ghatafan sent emissaries to Medina to state that they would not join the battle if the Prophet SAW bribed them. The Prophet SAW rejected this offer and sent the emissaries on their way. When the trench was completed, the Prophet SAW left his house and made camp in a tent near to the trench, as did all of the Muslims. The Prophet SAW then ordered the Muslims to take turns 24hrs a day, in order to guard the trench and shout Takbir’s to scare away enemies. However, Huyayy ibn Akhtab had managed to sneak into Medina, for the purpose of convincing the Banu Qurayza to betray the Muslims, to which they agreed. This treachery was confirmed by Zubair Ibn Awwam RA who had been sent by the Prophet SAW to confirm his fears. Yet, the Prophet SAW wanted further evidence and thus sent a delegation of 4 Ansar who confirmed that, the Banu Qurayza were not going to honour the treaty. This made the Sahabah RA fearful because now they had 10,000 Ahzab outside and 2000 traitors within the walls of Medina itself. The Munafiqun were also very scared and they made excuses to avoid fighting but, the Prophet SAW denied them their requests to leave. The Prophet SAW then sent a small regiment led by Zayd Ibn Haritha RA to protect the fortress. - The Ahzab Arrives There was no unified leader in charge of the 10,000 strong Ahzab however, Abu Sufyan was in charge of the 4000 strong Quraysh. The Banu Ghatafan had the most amount of solders after the Quraysh. When the Ahzab reached Medina and saw the trench, they decided to set up camp and wait the Muslims out. This was because the Muslims had effectively buried themselves in Medina and eventually would run out of supplies. This siege lasted 20-30 days and during this time many skirmishes occurred. These skirmishes led to duels where Ali RA and Zubair Ibn Awwam RA fought two opponents and killed them. Furthermore, Khalid Ibn Walid and Ikrimah Ibn Abi Jahal also jumped over into the trench at one point but ,did not do any major damage before being forced to flee. The Ahzab would fire hundreds of arrows upon the Muslims within the trench during the siege. CONTINUED ON THEN NEXT EPISODE ========================================================== Disclaimer for my Notes of Sheikh Yasir Qadhi’s Seerah of the Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam Series: Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh, these are my notes on Sheikh Yasir Qadhi’s Seerah series. Please note: I HIGHLY recommend that you all watch YQ’s Seerah series, as I DON’T cover every single detail the Sheikh mentions. I made these notes primarily for myself but, decided my fellow brothers and sisters may benefit from them too. I no doubt will have made mistakes in my notes. All the good in these notes is from Allah SWT and all the mistakes are from myself. But, I was very meticulous and tried my best to make sure everything is accurate as the Sheikh mentions it. You also will see I have added “Fun Trivia facts” under each of my notes. These FTFs are information YQ said that was off topic or not necessary to include in my notes for the episode. But, they were still worth mentioning hence the inclusion as FTFs. FTFs aren’t always HAPPY pieces of information. Sometimes they are very sad trivia. I just want to say that FTF is the phrase I used for them all collectively when making the notes. One thing I wanted to do but am too lazy to do is, maybe someone could take the FTFs from under each “Episode” and make an Islamic reminder/information IG/TikTok account and post them daily or something. Could be a great form of Sadaqah Jaariyah. Please keep me in your Duas and ask Allah SWT to forgive all our sins during this blessed month and beyond! Ameen

Ilham. Maybe the technologies of this duniya are actually inspired. I used to ponder about the verses that Allah(swt) created everything and preferred human kind with a marked preference. Looking at the technologies and great inventions that atheists do argue with. It only appears to humans that these things are done by engineers and scientists and all. The angels will not be sent to build our houses and roads and all that Allah has favoured us with, just as we the humans are not the ones that build the nests of birds and ant hills nor do we spin the spider's webs with all the complexities involved. They're inspired. We are inspired too. Remember there is not a single hospital with human made drugs in the wild where animals still live for as long as their live spans are measured. So we can imagine that something as scientifically significant as a hospital is not even in the wild jungles or deep sea and yet we attribute our well-being to scientific advancement in medicine. Lool. This is laughable And this is why anytime you think about that line of arduino code that can trigger a pump to supply water for irritating a farm with precision in dates or using soil moisture content as a criteria, brothers! Humble your self and say Allahu Akbar! It is Allah that permits you to think of it. It is Allah(swt) that benefits humanity using you. You ordinarily cannot think of anything any more than a cow can use a spoon to feed. It is from Allah (swt)!

Reminds me of the business SWOT analysis, it can be applied to your own islam and iman. Example of made up person x: Strengths: prays 5 times a day, love allah and his messenger (s.a.w) weakness: doesn't pray fajr often oportunity: has very good memory, knows some Qur'an could easily memorize it all if he puts his mind to it. Threat: he used to have a girl friend in high school, he's in his twenties now and still not married. There is therefore the potential that may fall into the same sin again. He sometimes get's depressed this may be the cause of him falling into the sin. Conclusion: how is person x going to deal with this so as to protect from his threats, stop or at least eliminate his weakness, maximize strengths embrace opportunities. Thumbs up if you liked my post

Do you know , you can't ask for forgiveness or bleed for mercy when you are facing the judgment day,, it's too late at this point cause you had a life time to prepare for the after life... I have a feeling you're counting on forgiveness & mercy at the in the last minute cause the way you mention strength , conclusion etc etc.. FYI,,, Mohammad (salam) always knew the future of the Islam ,,, he did not run to the cave being a coward in ohood, he ran to save lives of Muslims.. He knew he's gonna live thru the battle... I dare anyone who call him a coward....wow.
