It's pronounced ˈzeːʃtɛrn, in German, but there is no mistaking the beauty and quality of these two watches. These watches have held up very well over the year and a half of ownership. I don't wear them all that much, but they are in the rotation. I think the wear and tear, such as it is on the clasps is likely the result of early ownership, when my collection was smaller and their time on the wrist was greater.
These watches are ideal representatives of what can be had for under $200 and made in China. This is the golden age of value proposition in the world of horology and I suspect the Swiss sector feels the pressure.
