Hi!! I just discovered your channel and your work. You really are inspiring. I was wondering if you will consider re-opening courses in the future. Thanks!
Thank you so much, Laura! I've been on tour for the last year filming courses and currently have 6 available on my website! seethelines.com/learn shows how. Btw, how'd you discover this channel?
@@seethelines Thanks!! I certainly will try one of your courses. Actually how I found your channel is a funny ,(somehow unusual) story. I like art and slow living which I associate with things like writing with a fountain pen, reading physical books, taking time to create beautiful calligraphy and bookbinding. I was perusing the web of one of my reference fountain pen shops in Madrid (Iguana Sell) and I came across a short video featuring you and your sketching. In my big ignorance I wasn't really expecting an artist showing his ink and watercolor creations (which is already quite unusual in this kind of shops, at least in Spain), but yet again, forgive my ignorance! Anyway, ( I really couldn't tell you exactly what or how did it) I got the push I needed to start drawing again and with a huge plus! I could do it with a fontain pen! So, thanks for doing the interview at Iguana Sell and thanks for transmitting your passion with such enthusiasm and humility! You made a person who has not drawn a line in 20+ years, take the leap and try again.
@@aishaturco this is incredible! i love to hear about how you consciously enjoy the art of slow living. It's counter to the flood of fast media these days. shows me that there is opportunity to share in real-time format. Yes! I enjoyed very much meeting Iguana Sell in Madrid. Javier gave me a blue ink which inspired my latest blue series, seen on IG :) The fountain pen art work is fairly new to me. About 4 years into this. Now teaming with Esterbrook its allowed me to grow a collection of different size nibs. I've seen fellow artists with very cool fountain pens and how drastically it changes their styles. Very fun stuff. so thanks for commenting here and hope I can inspire and share aspects of creating travel journals .
