I think Seether is one of the most underrated groups out there. I'll be 56 this year and been listening to them for more than a decade.

When you reach the point that you don't know what to say to anyone anymore, Seether releases a new album that says everything perfectly. I live for these albums.

Just lost my wife and daughter because my PTSD. I feel this song describes how I feel right now. Cry the entire way through. Edit 2023: Life is so much better now. Remarried, two more kiddos (and we get to see my daughter every month). Medical marijuana and music saved my life. Still have all the same problems, but they do seem smaller the further you walk in life. Thank you, everyone, for all the amazing messages. You are all still the reason I joined military in the first place, please take care of one another, every human is in this game of life together. Also, full disclosure, I never saw any of these replies until today, 6 years after my original post. Your comments have moved me to tears. I am horribly agoraphobic and have been struggling with it more than usual lately. Reading all of your comments of support have deeply moved me, as the people outside of my home tend to only give me anxiety. I think it’s time for me to try this whole being part of society thing again. Thank you all so much for giving me hope in the world around me again.

A true soldier takes a knee, sheds a tear, picks up the sword and continues on fighting. I struggle with suicidal depression but I’ll be dammed if I’m gonna let life win and drag me to my grave. Stay strong and continue on, when your swallowed by darkness you gotta fight to see the light

Seether has gotten me through some tough times and no doubt will continue to get me through tough times. They have a song to personify how I'm feeling at any given time whether I know how to describe it or not. I love this band so much.

How are you guys able to not disappoint me every time? Every single album of yours is as amazing as the previous. No one can say "they used to be better now they suck" or "i miss the old seether". I see that happen to almost every band, for example the last Linkin Park album was not welcomed by a large number of fans. But you guys are just amazing. Please keep it this way.

Seether reaches into my musical soul. Their music has a primal rhythm.

Shaun has a voice that just tears into your soul. It commands respect and attention. He has so much emotion it helps anyone feeling in need... It speaks to you in ways a lot of musicians never could. Love them. Got me through a lot of shit.

Those of us who are always there for others, in which ever way it may be, are normally the ones who NEEDS Prayer the most, but our plea's for help, when we really really need it, ALWAYS falls on deaf ears. Like a seed that needs a tropical environment to grow, but falls silently and quietly in the middle of a barren desert.

From a music standpoint these guys have always had a unique dynamic. From a lyrical standpoint it has always been poetic and fluid. One of the most underrated bands, yet most rounded and talented.

I feel this song 💯. I have what's called BPD aka borderline personality disorder. It's like PTSD and Bipolar combined. I often self destruct and when I do I don't care that I do til I've calmed down and can think rationally. It's not just anger that get triggered but also feelings of depression. Often I'll go from calm to manic to completely down in the dumps wanting to die in a matter of an hour. It's hell to live with this. You're not alone if you have this disorder. It's more common than one might think. One difference between bipolar and BPD is bipolar is an inheritable disorder where as BPD much like PTSD is learned or taught through life experiences. The first step to getting better is to acknowledge you have it. Do your research and find out more about it and learn to spot your triggers. If you can spot them before they happen then you can possibly prevent the trigger altogether. Again this song speaks to me everytime I hear it.
