You can use HDMI adapter which converts the signal from VGA to HDMI with no upscaling or modifying or you can buy OSCC

Great video! Out of curiosity, do you know if you can plug in a 3.5mm cable to the stereo output on the VGA side for headphones?

there are cheap adapters like the mini vga to hdmi, those automatically converts the 480p signal to 720p or 1080p and if you add a cheap video capture like those hdmi to usb and the obs program you theoretically should be able to capture dreamcast gameplay.

Is it pushing 480i or 480p through vga ? If 480p, will 240p sprites like MVC2 or CVS2 look pixilated ?

480p. And to that 2nd question no it won’t.

@@minanmikki8945 Wrong. The 2D games such as Marvel 2/KOF/etc etc, will have pixilated sprites. Even some of the text and 2D elements from 3D games can look pixilated or "jaggied". This is one of the reasons why I still prefer to play my Dreamcast on a normal CRT (non HD ones). Normal CRTs display in 480i so the "blurriness" basically acts like anti-aliasing giving the picture a much smoother look. 2D sprites look great this way. But to each their own.
