Sega Genesis: Aladdin! Part 1 - YoVideogames 

I count this as one of my most favorite Genesis games. Along with games like Gunstar Heroes, Primal Rage, Eternal Champions, and most of the Sonic Games.

Aladdin was a fun game to play back in the 90s. Tommy Tallarico did the music for the game so that's a plus.

getting nostalgia about playing this

This game is tough and i'm glad to say that i've beaten it before. One of my fav genesis games.

gunstar heroes!!!!! do it! but this aladdin game was the start of wanting to actually BEAT a game and the joy of doing so lol

Also snake body Beetlejuice spooked the shit out of me more than Large Marge did....

I owned this game as a Kid but could never make it this far. I love the dog with the key and the prisoner trying to tempt it with a bone; a nice reference to the Pirates of the Caribbean ride!

Fun fact: Alladin doesn't take place in Arabia. In the original story it starts with "Once upon a time, in China". "China" being a placeholder for "someplace far away in the east".

The "Gaston Hero" theory is worth investigating

Awesome; they know about the extra life by the Mickey Mouse ears. It hurts me everytime I see someone run by those ears without getting that life. It's one of those things that you'd discover on your own as a kid that'll make you facepalm as an adult every single time you hear a let's player say "how's a kid supposed to figure *that* out?".

blazing saddles is a classic. what's with the weird pause, max?

i hate lava stage. It scared me when I was a kid.
