For some reason when it comes to scooters people just see IPX and assume it means its waterproof. I watched someone ride a ninebot max through a flood and it died mid way. People dont realize motors are not perfectly sealed neither is the deck and when water gets in it basically steams up the electronics till it all rust out the boards internally.
To add to your info which was very appreciated ,Segway has a lock that prevents it from rolling or getting stolen....yes they can carry it but it is almost like nabbing a baby it screams to attract attention. Thanks for the review.
i have seen most if not all of videos on this scooter and this is by far one of the best, you do what the scooter was designed for and i like it brother, mine is being shipped should be here within the nex two days i actually purchased from amazon
I ride such a scooter, it is not afraid of water. its stability is higher than kaabo gt pro. He travels 80 km if he travels 25 km per hour, with a weight of 75 kg.
my 1st gt2 bricked after 15 days and around 300km of use (no water or rain use and in summer time, use only in bike lane), make sure you buy from trusted seller like i did. they replaced it and current scooter has around 1400 km and no issues so far. the old scooter is still sitting in the repair shop waiting for parts from china (70 days later), every repair is controlled strictly by ninebot segway and so no one locally will be able to repair it without jumping through some ridiculous hoops before hand.. i would compare getting a repair done to that of john deere products where they lock everything behind tech paywalls and proprietary dealer repair nonsense.
That’s a sick scooter! I just placed an order this black Friday my scooter should be coming in anytime soon! I was wondering if you can make a video testing the range on the scooter that would be great. Also, this video was fantastic. Thank you for all the information.
Awesome scooter, had one. Great customer service just took a while for support at times but overall no questions asked support and warranty worked great. Scooter was just too big and heavy to fit my lifestyle. Also the folding down of the stem doesn't really do much for smaller vehicles. I had to install a hitch onto my sedan with a rack to transport this thing and even that was a pain. If you can use it straight from your home without going up or down stairs to where you need to go/ have fun with than it will be a no brainer choice. If you plan to drive somewhere and bring it with then make sure you know its heavy as hell and big as hell. Truck/Suv is the only way id recommend transport.
Lasted 1,500 miles before battery needed replaced randomly. Took a month time total from them to warranty and return it. Hard to track as they outsource the transport service so you only really know when they receive it and send it back. Then a company of their choosing will reach out to you. They used a different company to pick it up than ship it back so it was a little confusing but overall I got it back so can't complain
i live in downtown SF and ride a segway scooter similar to this every day. You don't lock these up, you take them inside with you and in most places where scooters are common enough to warrant a hyper scooter being purchased, everyone know's "the deal" with scooters and wont hassle you for pushing it alongside at the grocery store, in the doctors office, at work, etc. because they know you cant lock it up. This is why most scooters fold - a modification to the stem with ALWAYS decreases stiffness and drastically reduces performance, but is worth it since everybody has to take these inside with them and making it as compact as possible assists with that.
?? Bro in NYC where are you taking this scooter for repairs/basic maintenance? I want to get one but this is a concern since there is no real dealer here.
Which one is more worth it the M1 pro 14 inch or the new 15 air m2 I want the bigger screen and the price but I don’t want it to start heating in a few years
Thank you for this! I’ve been looking up all kinds of scooters the last few days and I think this is the one for me, I want a Tesla at my feet! lol I really like everything about this, I do wish it has regenerative braking and maybe a few miles per hours faster but I really do like it! I feel like its speed will be fast enough for any roads I’ll be on around town!
Great review. Thank you. I’ve now researched high-end scooters for a week and all these different guys on RU-vid present themselves in such an exaggerated, trying to be so cool way that I’m just turned off. There are a few exceptions and you are one of them. your balanced way of speaking and great camera work pretty much sold me on the Segway. I’ve been considering inmotion midnight as well. Thanks again.
The Segway GT2 is the ugliest scooter ive seen on the market by a long margin, its over overpriced for what it offers and has nothing more than the competition already have, oh wait it has traction control, big fkn deal 🤣
The best looking scooter to me, i own one too, believe me, in person, it looks and feels even better. Like a little motorcycle... This is the only one except xiaomi scooter, that is done properly (bulid quality, everything is made just for this scooter, best throttle that is nice and progressive, thicker brakes, cable management, cooling of the controller and the baterry, baterry is done like in electric cars, not just some cells wired together packed in a shrink wrap, waterproof baterry and the controller, every screw tight with locktite on it and markings so you can see if any of them is coming loose, best tires that comes right from the factory, on any other scooter you need to change them right away... ) Every other scooter is just a toy. Even dualtron looks and feels like it was made in the garage , not in the big factory (and its with shrink wrapped batteries with no cooling... :D).
@@holyboy1 Yeah, It is the only scooter that you can just unpack and start riding right away and not worry about anything. :) But of course it is just a machine and anything can fail at anytime. Boyfriend of my mother has a new 6 month old audi RS6 for 170 000 EUR and it just stopped working recently. The whole electronics failed. :D
@@bitas007 Very true, you pay more for something high end whereas if something more affordable breaks down you have less to lose. Imagine owning a Ferrari or... a new 6 month old audi RS6 and being nervous about scratching it XD
