But not very well! 🤣🤣I had the bright idea for Loomo to follow me to my apartment complex's courtyard at night for us to have a walk together. Loomo has a "follow me" mode. Well, while Loomo did follow me to the courtyard (but not into the elevator, where I had to pick it up to take it into that), Loomo refused to follow me in the courtyard due to how dim it is at night...So, it follows, but only under certain circumstances and not so well even then!
After giving up on that, I took Loomo back to my apartment in a second video that I combined with the first to show how loud the “follow me” music sounds. I'm sure my neighbors really appreciate me haha
Of note, I can't figure out how to stop the music. I'm going to have to investigate further, because the music is a bit too much!

I'm pretty sure the music is so that you don't lose him in a crowd. zit also helps to make sure no one steals it. Hopefully that helps. Love the robot!!

WOW! That thing is NOWHERE near ready for the market. And it's been out for 4 years already. Great concept idea, though. Sadly, I wouldn't take it to a hotel, work, college, or even my apartment building. My building would freak out on me. It was $1800 four years ago. But I would say it's worth about $30-$45 at most in its current state and if it worked as intended, then maybe $300-$600.

It needs a dock to charge itself and a touch sensor on the handle that will activate push mode and it would be cool if they had a way for it to go up stairs (in robot mode obviously)

Access the Loomo app to toggle the following music off. Loomo can barely see at night and needs an LED floodlight headlamp or clamp lamp with bendable neck to illuminate a few feet ahead of it to give it short sighted follow vision at night. During the day time if direct sun light gets into it's eye (sensor) it will lose sight of who its tracking and following and they must re-engage Loomo for it to commence to its following mode again.

Loomo's Bogus Journey. It needs a headlight for night time. Can you duct tape over the speaker until you solve the volume problem? I'm in apartment xxx and it's annoying, just kidding. That thing is almost really cool.🤖

Learning a lot ? Loomo is funny Thank you for all reviews and fun you put in all these videos 1:53 maybe the ambient lighting is either too bright or too dark I think the music is part of the following I think you have to be 3 feet from Loomo

Thank you! I’m learning for sure! New type of robot this time haha. Loomo definitely wanted me to be a set distance to follow me. It could have been 3 feet. The screen said it was too dim to see me.

I think it is having trouble following you when you have a phone shoved in its face. It needs to identify and track your shape which it cannot do when you have the phone there and then remove it to walk away. I’m sure you’ll get the hang of it. Keep it up.

Turn off the Follow Me sound by going to the Sound setting and reduce the “other sound” all the way down or to a minimum.

The sound for follow me mode can only be removed in the app not on the robot display. The display sounds don’t allow reducing it. I tried everything on the display to no avail. Only the app on my phone worked.
