Bought one recently, just logged over 100km on it. Absolutely love it, had my first black ice experience in -5C Newfoundland weather yesterday, let it drift on while I walked off it safely, barely a scratch on it. I notice the handle bar stem starting to loosen. It can easily be adjusted, so not a big deal. But something to watch for. I got mine full price, after taxes was $1460CDN at Canadian tire. If it got destroyed, I would order the g2 version immediately

Hey great video! I’m in Toronto as well and looking into getting this to commute to work (I usually drive). Considering it’s illegal here, but not enforced, have you had any interactions with the police or bylaw officers?

I didn’t know they were banned, I just looked into it. I haven’t had any interactions with the police while riding the scooter and I have rode on sidewalks while police were cruising by. I prefer to take inner local roads compared to main roads. When I’m on the main road I do ride on the sidewalks with extra caution around pedestrians walking.

Did you fill up the tires with air before you rode it ?? I’m just curious because mine is coming on Tuesday and I don’t have a pump.

With Canadian winter the scooter will be parked for a few months. what effect will it have on the battery if any?

Ive heard its not good to charge the scooter while its really cold, that can damage the battery. Also the range can be reduced while its being used in the cold

Which would an average person prefer to hear. An indication of how the electric motor sounds > muted with music. Just being honest

In Canada $999 aint too bad Ive seen it around $1300 at times. Id recommend looking at Used Like New too, they have decent prices and they look brand new.
